Hey there homies and welcome back to another Halo 3 campaign mod showcase! In this video, we continue checking out a mod that brings the Halo Infinite sandbox into the Halo 3 Campaign. This is Halo 3 Infinite, created by RPA60!

Halo 3 Infinite Edition. Actually only weapons are Infinite's (except cindershot, energy sword, gravity hammer, and no equipment).
Every weapon have their compatible first person animations, both spartan and elite.
Sandbox get revamped as well. Weapons, vehicles, AI behaviours, equipments, etc.
You will have a brand new Halo 3 experience.
There's an equipment that you can use infinite times in every level, near the first encounter area.
RPA60 recommeneds you to try legendary difficulty. Everything is balenced.

I’m still amazed at how well the weapon models look in Halo 3

Just goes to show how Infinite's art direction wasn't bad, it was just mishandled between the plastic shader almost toy soldier like lighting. The weapons here actually look functional and work within Halo 3's sandbox, assuming their properties are 1:1 except damage (for obvious reasons). There are a couple stand-outs, the pulse rifle is goofy and doesn't really serve a purpose in Infinite, or 3. I'm not sure why they opted to replace the plasma rifle, storm rifle, hell both of them, but here we are. The same can be said for the stalker rifle, it's just redundancy. I get it's trying to fill the gap between the carbine and beam rifle, but there's a huge reason why between Halos 2, 3, ODST, and REACH, we never received that middle ground from bungie. Bridge too many weapon categories, and suddenly you're left with weapons that are functional but don't distinctly stand out on their own. The Stalker rifle couldn't hold a candle to the carbine, even though it tries to desperately.

This mod is amazing and just made me itch for an idea. Would love to see someone do H2A multiplayer mod. Overhaul the models to H3/infinite. Add infinite sandbox and more maps into H2A. Would be a whole new multiplayer to hold us till H7

I just want someone who makes a mod for Halo 1 - 3 (IN MCC) that adds the grapple hook and removed fall damage (also removes some of the invisible walls.

In my opinion as a Halo Veteran who has played Halo since Halo 2 on the original Xbox, I always thought the sound design of the weapons was the weakest part of Halo 3, some weapons are OK for its sounds, but many are just too bland like the Assault Rifle being one. Adding in Infinite's sounds, makes the weapons sound or have alot more beefiness to them, despite what alot of the Bungie Halo Fans think. Yes they may be louder, but they have more of a war feeling to them.
