দেশের প্রধান রপ্তানি আয়ের উৎস কোনটি? এক কথায় মিলবে উত্তর। তৈরী পোশাক শিল্প। হবেই না কেনো? ২০২২-২৩ অর্থবছরে এই খাতে রপ্তানি আয় এসেছে প্রায় ৪৭ বিলিয়ন ডলার। যা মোট রপ্তানির ৮৪ শতাংশের বেশি। এছাড়া বিশ্বে পোশাক রপ্তানিতেও বাংলাদেশ রয়েছে দ্বিতীয় স্থানে। কিন্তু জানেন কি কার হাত ধরে দেশে যাত্রা শুরু হয়েছিলো এই শিল্পের? মোহাম্মদ রিয়াজউদ্দিন। এই মানুষটির কথা না বললে দেশের পোশাক খাতের ইতিহাস অসম্পূর্ণ থেকে যাবে। কেননা স্বাধীন দেশে প্রথম তৈরি পোশাক রপ্তানির পথটি তৈরী করেন তিনি।
