I pick our first tomato this morning.. not too big but very red. The weather here has been wet and gloomy most of the day but it's starting to clear up. Good weather for men of a certain age to drive their hot rod cars on the avenue and pretend they are 16-year-old hooligans again.

I love to eat them straight off the vine, but I will have enough that some will get as far as the kitchen. Hooligan? I heard that you were a sweet, angelic lad, always helping old ladies cross the road and tidying your bedroom....

Looks like you have that little fellow running around the track great. A fresh coat of paint will make them really impressive
