When u don’t have new parts, In some case, If still leaking, the orange rubber piece might be compressed too much after many use, u can try to find a small washer which can fit in, then put the rubber piece back.
If its because of the bad black o rings, better to find some and replace them.
Do it once , do it right! The rubber seal parts are the main reason to cause leaking.
Good luck and always careful dealing with hi temp machines to avoid burning.

Your suggestion of turning over and reusing the rubber washer is a great idea.

If rubber been crushed too hard, can added little washer, before turning around and put the rubber back. Otherwise will still leak after turning over.

Check the black o rings and re-use the orange rubber, it should be good to stop leaking, good luck!

I flipped the orange rubber piece over and reassembled. At first, the hot water handle didnt leak. But if I pull a shot then use hot water, it leaks.

When u put the rubber piece back , u can try to find a small washer which can fit in , then put rubber back, cus ur rubber piece might be compressed too much after many use. I’m in BC, I ordered at espressotec.com FYI.
