Older patrol really looks the part, love the v8 sound from the newer model but the older vehicle seems more in its element here. Great video though.

We’ve got a Y62 in the fam. Ours is a funky gray and browny mix. I think they look so good in white tho...

@@entity65 not true I watched a 4wd action video they had a modded 200 series, Modded new Hilux, Modded DMAX, modded 80 series, modded GU & a modded Y62, The y62 was pulling a camper trailer and it absolutely smoked all of them 4bys offroad even when it was the only 1 carrying a camper trailer

Do the patrols come with lockers? We get the aramda and the qx80 in the states and have no idea if they sell them with lockers or kept using the vdc thing.

True i own one. But on gravel tracks, the road and sand dunes they tromp the old school cars. I also got a gq shorty.

I think they are Dirty Life beadlocks with the lock ring removed and the tyres mounted normally

Shame they didn’t come with a good diesel in them, imagine spending 100k on a 4x4 then a further 30k a year in 98 premium seems it’s $1.80 a litre locally let alone when you go far north qld or any other remote place.

These are not absolute luxury, same with the LC. Most of the money goes into what make these things so solid.
