Yeah the old black noir and stormfront (the first one because he was more of a robot who simply followed orders while the latter is self-explanatory) were two of the few supes that completely agreed with his plans and didn't questioned him, I feel that what homelander would need to do is try to recruit supes who actually rocks with his worldview 100% without any question instead of trying to convince or blackmail neutral people to work for him. They don't breathe air since they don't have the structures needed for the gas exchange (aka lungs) but there is a bit of gas exchange through their skin by osmosis as long as it's wet even though it's not enough to sustain them for any important length of time, I'm thinking it was more likely a mix of hypoxia + ammonia poisoning + stress from the really poor quality water (I don't remember seeing her tank having any way of inputting oxygen and difusing it in the water) + stress from their discussion + stress from how Kevin broke her tank suddenly and possible wounds sustained by the glass since aquariums are often made with standard glass, not tempered

Her "plan" literally screwed them all over. Not only did keeping A-Train as the leak a secret lead to multiple people dying it also allowed the boys to record them planning world domination. Octopi generally can be out of water for a while, I feel this scene actually played out longer than it seemed and Deep was actually sitting there for however long that was listening to her death cries which to him felt like 5 minutes due to his shock & stress. It was weird how they kept cutting to different angles of his face like that and suddenly she was gasping again. Stress and shock can make you experience moments of spacing and temporarily lose track of time.

I read the early draft leaks for the series finale, it will probably change a lot by the time we watch it but A train won't battle homelander, but he plays a big role helping out. I won't say with what, but he is crucial. We all can already expect Ryan V Homelander but Soldier Boy will be there too. There's nothing more poetic than his father and his son taking him down. There's a huge curveball reveal nobody will expect, but I won't mention but I hope it doesn't change because it's actually amazing. I wish I didn't know it though.

Showing sex isn't the be all end all of entertainment in a superhero show, but you can't deny their relationship has little to no reason to be a thing besides the source material existing. When's the last time they FELT like a couple instead of the story TELLING you they are one. I get your point, I just think "show don't tell" needs to be a thing from time to time, about anything, not just two characters kissing/having sex etc.
