Welcome to our @Khlevnoy channel while we go through one of our crazy projects that I had to quit my job to make possible.
Join us on an adventure of a lifetime rebuilding this beautiful yacht Azimut 50 Atlantis. In this episode we are mostly cleaning up the electrical systems and touching up on theft that happens when buying from auction.
New shipments of new products coming in including the marine speakers and Raymarine axiom xl GPS chartplotter. Thanks for the sailing inspiration by ‪@SailingZatara‬ and ‪@SailingLaVagabonde‬ along with ‪@KaraandNate‬ we decided to get closer to Salt life.
Also, coming up in the future another project of mine, a rebuild of Audi R8 following the steps of ‪@BisforBuild‬ and ‪@reallifeexotics8455‬.

That boat definitely had 3 or 4 feet of water in it, nothing but electrical problems for years to come

It could be, but that is why I am replacing every electronic part on it. Because it's an italian boat buying everything is a challenge. Most of it is in europe.

Thats pretty shitty that someone is so depraved to need to steal used boat speakers! The raymarine Axiom is a pricey item, but it takes time to unhook all that. maybe it was an auction employee ? But typical auction sticky fingers, not the first time ive seen this happen.

Hey Alex, it’s Pavel. My suggestion is to buy a small mic that you can wear. Some of the audio when you are speaking is very low. Others wise good video.

Thanks. Will do, I'll have to find it online because the local best buy was out of stock on wireless mics. I guess everyone is a youtuber now. 🤣

It happens to any boat that is neglected and when it just sits on water without taking care of it. I love Azimut boats but they are too expensive, so getting one at the auction was the only way for us. 🙂

Did the boat sink before purchasing?

No, but there was water in the engine room. Auction notes said that water cooling pump failed and leaked.

I’m not totally up on your story, was this boat sunken or is that what tends to happen to salt water boats. I boat the finger lakes fresh water

Well, not exactly, It was not completely sunk, but it did have some salt water in the engine Bay. And yes, salt water is a lot more corrosive.

The engines were under water water was over the top of the motors there was no dingy when it was hauled out of the water because I hauled from marine max to the salvage yard
