I guess that you were never in the woods as a boy hunting, killing, gutting, skinning, butchering, cooking and eating the wild food that you harvested? It's a crime that our youth aren't taken to the country and learning a little bit about Nature and learning from her. Then by the time kids get 18, they will have the confidence and proof that they can take care of what they need to take care of.
