Bitcoin prices could hit up to $200,000, SunnySide Digital CEO says

Bitcoin prices (BTC-USD) are rallying after the highly anticipated halving event occurred on Friday. SunnySide Digital Founder and CEO Taras Kulyk joined Yahoo Finance to discuss the outlook for the cryptocurrency in the post-halving landscape.
Kulyk notes that the rally in bitcoin prices this year was attributed to factors such as geopolitical instability and the introduction of spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that saw massive inflows. Since the halving, he points out that new protocols have launched, driving "developer and transaction fee" values for mining companies.
According to Kulyk, this current halving demonstrated "the adoption, integration [of bitcoin] into overall global portfolios." With bitcoin increasingly being viewed as "a supplement to gold" in various global markets, he describes it as "a safe-haven asset." Kulyk foresees bitcoin prices potentially reaching the $100,000 to $150,000 threshold by the end of 2024.

Since risk is at an all-time high right now, perhaps you should be a little more patient and return when it has decreased. Alternatively, you can consult a trained financial expert for strategy.

Yes true, I have been in touch with a brokerage Advisor. With an initial starting reserve of $80k, my advisor chooses the entry and exit commands for my portfolio, which has grown to approximately $550k.

Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Adriana catherine ....

Personally I put down 1.3m$ on few ETFs, still diversifying. It was this time last year I made my first million with a liquid 200k. Invested it in a trader here in CA, I get weekly pay out which I invest back on long term ETF's. Google will be a huge buy for me when the market bottoms.

Interesting question. Let's look at some use cases. Let's say you are a drug lord and need to sneak a million bucks across the world quickly. You have to avoid the normal banking system obviously. And shipping a million in gold or jewels is slow and insecure, some one can intercept the shipment . Bitcoin allows you to do this quickly and anonymously. Do you have time to shop around? Maybe not . So you pay a premium to use bitcoin. And seeing how bitcoin can be broken up into 100 million pieces, and has a limited supply, I could see each piece being worth a dollar. Or 100m a coin.

Excellent question. Suppose you run a drug cartel and need to ship a million bucks NOW across the world Or suppose someone kidnaps your child and you need to pay the ransom. You don't want the police or banks involved, you don't want to wait for gold or gems Bitcoin is perfect for this. And there are ways to make it anonymous.

Bitcoin has little to do with gold investors. One is bought by Banks, Kings, and Governments. The other is bought by everyday Investers and a few hedge funds.

@@yassma977 Central banks net gold purchases totaled 1,037 tons in 2022 I think. I'm a gold owner too. Never touched bitcoin, and never will. We are a rare bread. I have only met one other.

Im a professional Appraiser, Been appraising for 30+ Years now. if you ask me what Bitcoin is worth..... 2 years ago it hit 69 000$ and then just recently it hit 74 000$. SO ON ITS BEST DAY ITS WORTH 74 000$.. If you buy it below that then its a good deal!!!
