Have you guys thought about doing a Knuklhed rally. No fishing tournament. Just a meet and camp and fish. A weekend hangout for a bunch of kayak anglers to have fun and meet.

This video is so full of win, I mean when you get two Knucklheds together there is bound to be some comedy. Great video guys, loved it! Also, Austin went with the wrong color, everyone knows that the Desert Tan is the best Blackpack option.

Yakattack should make a tray with a lid that attaches to the lid of the blackpak. Something like the Wilderness Systems kayak krate.

Gotta love the Blackpak! Got the 13x16 when they came out. Love it but wished I would have gotten the 16x16. Maybe sometime down the line.

Those are extremely nice yak crates!. I know their expensive for a box! I have an old wider dark green rectangle milk crate that I use on my PA12. Fits perfectly for width. I attached rod holders to. It came from garage at my dad's. It's probably older than me? I would definitely like to have one of those box's but I can't bring myself to pay that much when I already have something free that's worked well past 8+ yrs.

Whenever I assemble anything, I always put the screws, nuts and other small hardware in a shallow flat-bottom bowl. There is NOTHING worse than crawling around on your hands and knees looking looking for that stuff.

DISCLAIMER - I didn’t see this video before I purchased the olive green 13X13 😂 fyi it comes with 3 rod holders so I bought 3 more. I think the olive green will look good on my photic OT 106 MK.

Couldn't get the T-bolts in those tracks. I had to add some washers under the tracks. Then they slide in and out like their suppose to. :)

I never really liked the original BlackPak. This new one is awesome. I have a 16x16 and it holds everything I need for a full tourney day of fishing. 4 3700s, 1 3600, plastics for days, with room for battery packs, snacks, and bottles of water.

Nope; they are pretty much waterproof

Can you mount the yak attack aluminum gear tracks to the black pak pro?

You can’t. They require the GridLock tracks. Well, let me clarify. You “can” mount the aluminum tracks if you want, but it won’t line up with the Gridlock screw holes

This product cots way to much to require you to build it to lol being modular is one thing, saving money on assembly and shipping and still charging a premium is another.

If the product were assembled before it shipped to dealers that cost would have to be factored into the retail cost and would like add another $50 to $100 to make it feasible by the time you factor in the manufacturers labor, larger shipping container and higher freight cost. Plus, it can be configured and reconfigured a ton of different ways so are you thinking only the box should be assembled and then the consumer can customize the rest? If so, that’s the easiest part of the build and takes minutes so the value proposition just isn’t there for the manufacturer, dealer or consumer

@ChadHooverFishing I understand what you are saying but for a mass ordered parts list that is very condensed due to the design, even produced in the United States their parts inventory is very light. You are buying 5 pieces of polymer and a couple rod tubes for $150? The box can't be configured different ways. It's a box or rectangle... yes you can orient the sticker direction and hinges different ways but those could be hot swapped by the end user as well if it were assembled. I don't see the value here and think it over priced because it is targeted to a niche market not the masses. Cool product not knocking it at all, but hard to justify not having an assembled product at that price. Thanks for the response
