Son and I spent 9 days out the back of Barrier, Arid, Mokes late March. Snapper fishing around Arid and nearby was as good as I have ever had there. Also heaps of Trevally not far from Arid this year which are a sashimi treat as well as great whole fish Hapuka baits. Hapuka fishing out from the Mokes was over in 3 just drops. As much fish as we could eat and give away. Good season for everything except couldn't find any XOS kingies this year for some reason. Even though we travel there ourselves we still love watching your NZ shows and your enthusiasm for what is a pretty special place.

I had the same problem last year, so I left Marty and head to the shore line, could not believe how many big snaps I caught within metres of the shore. 👍 to Aarons (& Michelles) food - love the sushimi and beer after a long day on the water.
