קטעי פורים מתוך "אגדה בחולות" בבימויו של יעקב גרוס, מוצגים להנאתכם עם תרגום לאנגלית. הסרט אגדה בחולות מציג במשך 100 דקות את סיפור 40 שנותיה הראשונות של העיר העברית הראשונה. הסרט הופק מתוך סרטי ארכיון הנמצאים בארכיון שפילברג ובארכיון הישראלי לסרטים - סינמטק ירושלים. בסרט חגיגות פורים בשנים 1928,1932, 1933 ו1934 - בעדלאידע של 1933 בולטים צלבי הקרס, כחלק ממאבק היישוב בעליית היטלר והנאצים לשלטון. באותם ימים, למרות האיום הנראה לעיין, עדיין שררה השמחה ברחובות.

The Jews never forgot the story of Esther and Haman. In 1933 they were well aware that a new Haman was rising in Europe. Thank you for the subtitles!

1932-1933 were the first years of Nazis regime, and many people referred to Hitler as to a dangerous clown. So today we refer like that to Ahmadinejad, but after he"ll throws a bomb, all the jokes will vanish and run out. Tel - Aviv people in 1932- 3 were playing with Nazi symbols and warned against the danger at the horizon. No one dreamed that it would be so terrible like the Holocaust. So Nazi symbols were integrated into the Purim festivities. ...

לאיתן: בסרט העדלאידות שערכתי יש מספר צלמים: יעקב בן דב, ברוך אגדתי ונתן אקסלרוד שעבד בשיתוף עם ירושלים סגל בסרטי "מולדת". ירושלים סגל צילם בעצמו מעט סרטים, וככל הידוע לי ההסרטה של העדלאידות באוסף שלו צולמו על ידי אקסלרוד.

@gladefoam YES "Jews" in "Israel" in 1932, in 1832 & in 1772. Jews in Israel even before year 1 (secular year). Indeed those Year Counting began because of a particular Jew in Israel. Moreover, to your surprise (perhaps) Jews in the same Land "Israel" for over 3,000 years

יעקב שלום. אני שואל כי הכרתי אותו. הייתי נשוי לנכדתו, בתה של דבירה בתו. אני זוכר שלפני שנים הוא הזמין אותי להקרנה פרטית באולם קטן ליד מוגרבי ושם ראיתי את סרטי העדלידות, הנחת אבן הפינה לעיר נתניה ועוד....אבל אני בהחלט מקבל את תשובתך...אתה המומחה.

אני רוצה להודות ליעקב על הסרט המרגש. אין לי ספק שאני נמנה בין אלפי יהודים שיחגגו את החג השנה עם דמעה אחת או שתיים כתוצאה מצפירה בסרט.

@GeorgeRellas By grandparents had their honeymoon in Israel in 1922! They have plenty of pictures of all the Jewish communities they visited and even were allowed to visit in Egypt at that time and have pictures by the pyramids! My other grandparents owned fields in the 20s and 30s in Israel. There have always been Jews in our homeland even though many were killed and kicked out. Learn a little truth. It may not hurt you.

הערב 7.3.2012 יכולתם לראות את טכס מלכת היופי. בסרט העדלאידע תוכלו לראות את צפורה צברי, מלכת היופי של תל-אביב ב1928. בהכנות לעדלאידיע תראו את ברוך אגדתי משליך קונפטי על הקהל החוגג, כפי שקרה הערב בטכס של 2012. מעטים יודעים וזוכרים שברוך אגדתי הביא את ה"סרפנטין" הקרוי היום קונפטי לחגיגות ולקרנבלים. חג פורים שמח.
