Yes, I installed a new steering cable. In the future I think I will try pushing in lubricant using air pressure. I think pushing in lubricant will be easier and faster.

i have the same model same year.. are they supposed to be unstable ? seems like the slightest movement i loose control? steering is loose, i think to loose. Theres a delay from the moment you turn the wheel to when it actually moves is about half a second

Sounds like you have some slack in the mechanism. There should be no delay. Something is wrong. I would check it out closely if I were you. It is critical that the steering does not suddenly fail when you are underway

@@Charleston_SC yeah it feels like i do have slack , would that cause it to be very unstable?

Yes slack in the steering would cause it to be unstable because the ski is not reacting fast enough to a sideways push from a wave
