It can not increase top speed, no pulley can do that, except if she it much bigger and thus change the ratio between the front an rear. The Dr Pulley and other similar "racing" pulleys do not change final ratio in anyway, the standard Aerox pulley and these racing types have exactly same diameter. With some small modification, you can make the belt climb higher, this needs modification at the rear pulley as well, since both work together, and no need to make the belt climb higher at the front if he can not go deeper at the rear. See the belt drive like a gear box on any bike, The gearbox has up to 6 gears and form one gear to the next the ratio changes, like this for example 2:1, 1,8:1, 1,6:1, 1.45:1, 1.3:1, 1:1. When you shift the gears, the speed of the front chain sprocket turns faster. How fast the wheel spins depend on how many teeth you have at the rear, more teeth means slower wheel speed, less teeth means faster wheel speed. If you change the gear box sprocket in size, it is inverted. The advantage with chains it the one that you can make chains longer or shorter and thus have unlimited possibilities. The gearbox ratios can be changed by changing the single gear sprocket pairs of each gear and shafts, and for engines with a tight rpm operation range, you need a tighter gear ratio. On a belt drive with variator, all you can change is the speed at which the variator operates. With lighter weights your engine accellerates slower and with higher weights it accelerates faster. In both cases you need enough engine speed to make them climb with lighter weights, and engine power with higher weights. If engine power is too weak, your weights will not climb up. If, at 9500 rpm, the bike runs 110, it will run that 110 at 9500 rpm with just any variator, independent of what variatior you use, unless you modify it in a way that the belt climbs a bit higher in the pulley and at rear you allow the pulley to open wider. The the final rear pulley will spin faster and the bike go faster as well. But even then, you will run, maybe 120, but never 150. Where is then the solution? Let us see just what we do in any bike to change final ratio. If you have a chain drive and you have 13 front and 39 rear, you have a transmission ratio from 1:3. If you make the front bigger, or the rear smaller, you allow the wheel to spin faster. This for sure will only happen if you have enough engine power to do that. If your engine is not able to run faster than 120, you can change the ratio the way you want, if higher than 120 the engine will get stuck, or at any little way up, you need to change gear to a lower ratio. Now, where is the solution to get the Aerox faster ? Only solution is to change final gear ratio in the rear gearbox of the wheel. Aerox has 14 inch wheels, Nmax has 12 inch. Both bike run at same speed, thus the wheels of the Nmax need to spin much faster. And this means that Nmax has a faster final transmision ratio, for example 33:1 on Aerox, 30:1 on Nmax. It is evident that, taking the final gear driveshafts of the Nmax and put it in the Aerox, will make your wheel spin at same speed than Nmax wheel and run your bike up to 135 kmh. But, the question is if the engine power to make the Aerox go 135 is sufficient. I think that you need more engine volume, 180 or 200 cc, a ported big valve head, racing stage 2 camshaft, open exhaust, bigger throttle body, and another final gear ratio. Gearbox shafts in ratios from 29:1 up to 34:1 can be bought online, but remember. If you change between 33:1 and 30:1, the speed increase will be some 10 to 12 % only, making the bike run 135 maximum. By changing variator weights you just change the accelaeration response and at what rpm your engine turns more economical. The main torque being at 7000 rpm, this is where engine has most power. So when you use higher weights, they climb faster, but this does not means they climb higher and too heavy weights will make bike accelerate faster, but will make it run slower if the engine has not the power to make the weights climb higher. The variator needs to spin at a certain speed to make weights go all the way up, and if that speed is 9500rpm, you have to be sure that the engine has still enough power in that range to make them go that fast. That is why Aerox accelerates fast up to 95 kmh and then the speed increase goes slower. If we had 5 hp more, it would go right through 115 kmh without any slow down. Torque after 7500 breaks down and at 9500 there is not enough of it left to make the weights climb faster. If weights are too light, they will not be able to push the pulleys together and make the belt climb up. You see that 50cc bikes use 4 grams, 125 cc use 8 grams, and 155 cc use 11 grams, 250cc use 16 grams, 300cc use 18 grams, and so on. A "racing" speed variatior has flatter and longer ramps, making the weights climb faster and more linear. Thus you get better acceleration and if the weights are selected correctly, better mileage. But one thing no variator will bring you is what this scum video tells you, an Aerox running 150 kmh, that is physically impossible with a variator change, except if you find one 30% bigger in diameter, and for that, there is no space in the case. So, make up your mind.
