that Sparx motor alone is worth some cake. Curtis is the man..his trx 250r stuff is some of the best mx porting and exhausts.

I saw one of these dominate a dirt circle track back in the day against some motocross bikes. Stuck like glue and dude was riding it full nutz. It was around Bakersfield so maybe this was it?

Man that thing is in good shape and these things are indestructible I know the 200 the 225s and the 350 motors I've run them and hard I can't get one to even use a drop of oil

I remember back in the day when these were new they were scarce even then. I saw one for sale locally (ON, Canada) about 5 or 6 years ago that was pretty beat up, but all there and running. Can't remember the price, but it wasn't a fortune. Would have been a cool project.

Hey Ken, have you guys looked into the process of whitening yellowed plastics with UV light and hydrogen peroxide? I think the results can vary depending on the type of plastic but its worth looking in to. I've seen some great results from it.

Working for The Kaplan Family and Kaplan Cycles would be a dream come true. If I was mechanically inclined, I would have put in an application to them long ago, being ready to move away from the toilet bowl of Louisiana, at the drop of dime, without any thought involved. I'm very warm blooded, and was most definitely born in the wrong state. I love cold weather and snow. The only snow Louisiana has, is the cocaine that addicts buy. The humidity and hot weather here is ungodly and fucking miserable. I just try to make the best out of a shitty scenario, because I'm not rich, just a middle class working tax payer, now living on permanent disability, boring as fuck. Would much rather be working. Hardwork and elbow grease never hurt or killed anybody. Just ask Ken Kaplan Sr. All he needs is like 4 to 5 hours max, if sleep a night. A beastly, rare work machine, that works, while most of us are sleeping.

I remember a kid down the road from me when we were young had a brand new 1988 BW350 electric, I haven't seen one of these bike since then, they are a rare and true collector!

Oh ! A 350cc , besides Hair on your Chest , must have hair on your toes too ? I’ve seen people build big wheels out of 450’s and 500’s , that Chick has hair on her Back , my kinda Girl ? Plus owns her own chainsaw , Quality Girl , and No ! My Old Lady doesn’t have a hairy back , 414cc , Quality , TW 200 is on my Bucket list , right after Coo Coo Clock , priorities
