Very nice collection of both bikes and extra parts. Question for ya. Looks like you've got a tiny amount of experience bringing these things back to life. At one point would you say one of these is too far gone to bring back? Picked one up recently and it's missing several parts and will need some work just to get the motor running. It did run when I picked it up from the guy, but he was only able to get it started by shooting starting fluid in the carb. Your opinion??

i have one, its in good shape, its been threw the woods a few but i accidently blew it up while doing donuts in the road. the kick start flew out and got caught on my pant leg and it messed some key ways up.

Quick assessment of the bike: compression is a little low and spark is intermittent; will need new exhaust, rear brake pedal, kick starter, breather box, hand levers and cables, twist throttle, rear axle as the threads are pretty boogered up on the existing one, either a carb rebuild or replacement....and these are just the obvious things that I actually remember.

you can join the yamaha big wheel yahoo group and get a lot of different riders opinion..one the rear I prefer a 22x11x9..on the front you can get lot of choices on a 25x8x12..I have a brand new set of the original tires I plan of putting on ebay in about a week...
