the out put is all thru the volume control knob on the 670

this one you plug into the headphone record out jack and use the volume control for the output and you can also have the interneal speakers on at same time to if you want

You really never want to use bluetooth with any instrument becoase of lag. As small as it may be

perhaps but once you set it you forget it and you really would want to have the onboard. speakers on all the time period pluged in or not just my thoughts on this so for me its a set it and foget it this way even if i was to go onstage and back to the house it would not matter as my speakers are always on but yes a short cut would be great but not really all that praticial in the long run either

if your headphones have a 1/8 plug then youll need and adapter if your headphones have a 1/4 plug already then just plug then right in

you can still plug in to a mono input on your mixer ior usb interface makes not difference and this keyboard has whats called headphone /line out and you dont need and XLR but you can use one on the mixer end of you want to but you have to use 1/4 stereo/TRS at the keyboard end

you read the manual 1 i dont have the keyboard anymore and 2 i never got into that part of the board sorry

call yamaha other then that you couls try a factoyr reset of the keyboard turn off the keyboard then hold down the last key far right do not let go of it turn on the power keep holding for 10 seconds or untill keyobard resets then let go and start over try again if that still fails then call yamaha

your best to use a keyobard amp or a set of reference monitors keyboard amp for live play on stage or into the main pa but if you want home use keyboard amp or a set of decent reference monitors or just use whats in it for home use

not that iam aways of download and check the manual but i doubt it

output on external speakers is more controled by your speakers wattage and the volume level you set the keyboard to as well as the input signal and the sound will be different on all external spakers due to being different speakers and cabnets would be the same as no 2 sets of headphones will sound the same either

@@KevinMillard68 ok bro got it, but i have tried different ways to play live on stage …. The cfx grand piano sounds awful…too thin and too treble like a toy piano ….i dont get the richness as it is ,…. But my psr s970 still sounds amazing through on board speakers and as well as live stage speakers … it sounds fabulous ….but dgx 670 disappoints !! Splitting the phono jack into separate left right signals and plug into mixers … still not working ..

@@abinshaz2110 you have to use external speakers that have their own power! You also have to change the headphone output in the menu if you want to hear the piano speakers and the external speakers at the same time 👍

@@your_average_joe5781 that's not what he is complaining about (hearing onboard and external at the same time). He is complaining that the DGX-670 output is total GARBAGE; and I am with him (along with dozens and dozens of other users worldwide according to a multitude of forum posts)

@@JoeLinux2000 It was a hornswoggle of gargantuan proportions! I had the DGX-650 and I LOVED IT! It was only 128-bit polyphony but still sounded amazing! Had it connected to sony Sa-va 15's (self-amplified speakers) and it THUNDERED! It did so much more than I used it for but I didn't care, I was %100 satisfied with only using about %5 of the features.... the DGX-660 was darn near the same thing but 192-bit polyphony and I think that had native bluetooth (I needed a usb bluetooth adapter for the 650). The 670 is a total train wreck! I would set it on fire before I gave that trash away and then I'd post the video online to show yamaha they make totally stupid decisions and they don't care that they do. There are well over 100 forums and posts, youtube complaints, etc.. of people very upset about this stupid digital piano. :( NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN will I buy yamaha anything.

you should be pluged into a power set of pa speakers or a proper keyboard amp so thats on you your amp your using is likey lacking in wattage out put alot that or you have the wrong ohms of speakers on your reciever amp which also can cause a problem to the volume on the keyboard does not have to be more then 3/4 up at the most.. as for them jamming to mich stuff into nope they could have added in more i use my 670 in a yamaha 10 channel mixer that is connected to a set of M-auido 5 inch reverence powered monitors and its loud as hell perhaps later today ill do a video with my setup so you know how its done. the manuals are detailed and can be a bit confusing as well i get that which is why i learned more by just pressing buttons and learning it that way stull some stuff i need to read up on those but thoes are not big areas anyhow at some point today ill do a how to video for sound systems for you

@@KevinMillard68 I have the Yamaha RX-V4A receiver connected to my DGX-670. The speakers are Sony 6-8ohm speakers. I am not the only person having this problem, there are dozens of forum posts with this issue. With my DGX-650 (which i really did love) I had a pair of Sony Sa-VA 7 (self amplified) speakers and those rocked the neighborhood! lol I would put the 650 in pipe organ, transpose down to -12 and play some Castlevania pieces. I'm sure the neighbors thought I was a serial killer or devil worshipper; but at least it kept them from talking to me or bothering me! lol I would have thought that Yamaha receiver I just bought would have been more than adequate. I do have a pair of Mackie CR5-X speakers that I connected via 1/4 phono to RCA and they too were too low of volume (they're self-amplified).... so that is why I am at a loss.
