You took the tube off before you closed the valve, which can let air into the system. You can keep the ring spanner on under the tube, so that when you're done you tighten the valve to seal it and then remove the tube.

I wouldn't have expected to see brown brake fluid in the front reservoir. Since my bike is same year and mileage, it looks like I'll be flushing it this week. Thanks for the maintenance heads up. I think your dragon liked the crickets better, but a little variety is good too.

Crickets? Not sure I've posted any vids of him eating a cricket? In this video he first ate a horned worm and then a super worm. He eats a variety of feeder insects including crickets, dubia roaches, horned worms, super worms, grubs, and the occasional wild summer grasshopper. EDIT: I remembered I fed him crickets in the Throttle Lock video.

I just remembered I added him eating Crickets to the Throttle Lock video. Your comment makes much more sense now.

And what about the ABS module? This service should be done with a yamaha diagnostic tool in order to pulse de ABS and get ride of old fluid

Miguel Correia No species tool is needed. Go ride the bike and activate the abs pump a few times and repeat the procedure.

Yes, it is already a valid procedure, but it should be mentioned as mandatory, since if it is not done it will never be a complete flush. Btw this is a excelent how to video :)

So you use the speed bleeder to drain just whats in the tank and nothing more right? You'll stop as soon as you see it go to empty? First time doing something like this.

vancitygoobz Don't let the reservoir go empty or you'll suck air into the lines (bad). Keep the reservoir topped off with fresh fluid and stop when the fluid coming out of the bleed screw is coming out clean.

@@sciencebiker9519 I'm not sure why you think that is bad to empty the reservoir. It ensures you're removing all the old fluid, and it's just as easy to fill it using the same method you used to empty it. Bleeding brakes is necessary any time you open that bleeder screw anyway.
