This video is so impressive. I have starting problem with my R1 and had gone through couple starter motor copper wire replacement including replaced battery, both have no impact until I saw your video. Cool!

Omg i finally found someone who has the same issues. Every Year i get a new Batterie cause even the Yamaha workers self dont know about that issue. Would you say its easy to replace it?

I have the same problem on mine a few months a go but when i just has buy a new battery the problem had disappeared and know the problem is here again. Should I change the relay directly or i start by check the starter 🤔 Thank you for sharing ✌✌✌✌

I had/have this problem with my 09 R1. I replaced the stator, starter relay, stator and I'm 3 batteries in. If this actually fixed your bike that awesome but for the rest of us having this issue a normal relay change doesn't fix the cold starts. Just my opinion after dealing with it for 2 years.

Didn't work for my 2010 r1. Tried a cheap $40 relay off ebay and then brought an OEM relay from yamaha for $120 and both new relay made no difference. Ready ro burn my r1. Over the shitbox.
