+indetrucks Originally I left it on because I didnt know better. But it seems to work better with it on both ways even when you downshift. You can do it without the clutch, you just have to throttle up. Ill make a video about how to do it next season.

I absolutely love my quickshifter. It has an issue every few months where it doesn't initialize, so its not on, and I notice it IMMEDIATELY and miss it. The solution is simple. Restart the bike. But it shows how much I rely on it. All of my future bikes will have one.

+FullThrottle099 Yea dude I plan to either add one to the r3 or hopefully I'll be able to buy a triumph next year and I'll be adding that as a factory accessorie. From what I've heard the triumph quickshifter are amazing.

+Concordeagle Seems correct. There is a thing that says RH on it. That's the brake side of the bike.

gotcha, it's the angle/movement of the camera, sounded like you were referring to the R coil when you were pointing at left side of bike.

I like it so far. It's so good that every bike I own from now on will have a quickshifter. I have a full review of it in another video.

+Concordeagle No, I didn't find a good spot :( I left it directly on the battery without a fuse. It does drain the battery if you don't use the bike regularly. Works fine otherwise.

Another option is to just put a $1 on/off switch between battery and QS red terminal.

Yes, correct. That will help stop the draining of the battery. For the others wondering, this switch cannot be used to turn on/off the QS. The bike will not turn on unless you have the switch turned on. If you want to turn the QS off, you have to use the included jumped and plug it into the harness. The switch is only to stop the battery from draining while the bike is not in use. Battery only drains in about 3 or so months though anyways.

Use the rear tag light wire for switched 12v power. It’s easily accessible for adding accessories and should something draw more power and blow a fuse you only temporarily lose the tag light. No big deal.

Sorry, buddy, I dont remember. This was a long time ago. I'm on my 4th bike since the R3. I didn't change too much from the settings, I think. There is another video I made on this quick shifter, maybe I mentioned the settings in that.

Rafael Cordoba yes you can, just enable the option, most people won't use the downshift thou.

You can downshift with this quickshifter but you will still need to use your handle bar clutch. The annitori is not a an auto-blipper, which is required to downshift without using the clutch. High end bikes like the R1M, some Panigales, and S1000RR come with quick up and downshift from the factory.

Actually.. as someone that rides an R3 I can say it wouldnt be a terrible mod.. ive never used one. But I do have to shift a LOT. From a stop light up to 45 mph, im cruising in 5th gear.. after a long day of riding I notice its my clutch hand that starts aching before anything else! In this sense its an okay upgrade.. but I do get what you're saying lol congrats on having the fastest shifting 300.. you can now beat ALL 300s! But I mean.. I clutchless shift SO easy on my r3 that I cant justify buying one.. but im here on the video to check it out arent I?! So I did think about it..
