My buddy Eric and I having a good ol' time shredding Superjets out in the Delta slews in Northern California. It's a blast out there, almost like riding trails but for jet skis.

So I love Yamaha for their sit down skis I think if you really want a stand up consider a 90’s standup from Kawasaki like a 440, 550, or 650 they have flat bottom hulls which are a little more playful than the super jets hull which are designed for racing purposes I have driven many different types of jetskis and I do own a 1991 Kawasaki 650sx which was restored and modified to now go 45 instead of the previous 38mph they are very inexpensive and easy and fun to modify this spring I hope to make it go at least 50mph also modifications for any standup I would recommend is an upgraded exhaust, a racing ride plate (makes turning more fun and smooth), a racing intake grate (distributes water evenly to the impeller), a stainless steel impeller (make sure you order one specific to the model jetski you own), a finger throttle, and an oil injection delete (switch to mixture)

Never ridden a stand up so just curious- is the helmet for protection against hitting head on ski or water or just place to mount a go pro? Seems like I see some people wearing helmets on stand ups and some not. Thanks.

How does the white hydro turf look after a could years? Does it get dirty fast? I'm thinking I'm gonna go that color with the blue but unsure

+Ranquin Smits Thanks dude. Its the standard sticky mount just stuck to the ski. Make sure you have a floaty back door just in case though.

Direct drive. As soon as you start it, it wants to move.

All personal watercraft have direct drive. Reverse and neutral are actuated by a bucket that redirects the flow of water
