+1 for Tractive/Rally Raid. I have Level II on my CRF300L Rally and it completely transformed the bike. I have the heaviest springs they make but I weigh 260lbs and ride it pretty hard on single track. As far as the fuel gauge, manufacturers give a good chunk to the "reserve" so youll have half a gallon left when its flashing. On my Rally there is .8 gallons in the tank when the lowest bar begins to flash.

My T7 must have been serviced improperly by somebody: When I bought it, the fork was harsh. I put a zip-tie on it and found I was only getting 4" of travel. I pulled the forks off, and set the oil level per the service manual and both forks were VERY overfilled with oil. Now I'm getting all but the last .5" of travel and it feels much better.

Don't forget to put your weight to the back on a slippy hill, plant the back and free the front for easy movement, my t7 is standard and I'm like you in my style of riding, takes practice but once your over the learning bit the bike comes alive . Great video btw

Thanks for the vid. How much sag have you got now?
@DavidWorm
I'm on the same boat with the harsh fork. And my fork isn't traveling the full range as well as described by

What tyres are you running? look to be ideal for my riding in Ireland also

So basically avoid the +25mm rally tractive for the t7? I wanted to get just that for faster riding offroad
