Hight temp paint, Luckily it's the same shade black as rest of the engine. It was £50 for teh casing £10 for teh gasket and about half a day of messing about...But if I didn't do it I would be constantly thinking about it when riding through Europe... - last thing I want my mind to be occupied with!

Nice one, love the trick with the tin foil. Might seem a stupid question. How do you know which screws or bolts need lock tighting

Nice video. I also have a V max full power. I notice on yours that the V boost valve on startup does not get powered, are you sure its a V boosted model?

oh yes, as soon it hit 6k rpm you could feel it!

nice work man.! have a question. are there different lengths of bolts in the lid or are all the same size? if so, which hole are the bigger ones in thnx !

oh I'm pretty sure there were different size bolts, but I can't remember from the top of my head. Check in the manual, or just write it down when you take them out.
