Recently found your channel. I am already a huge fan, and for good reason. Your no nonsense approach and pragmatic advice is a breath of fresh air in a genre too full of fabulously complex, heavy and expensive machines designed and marketed to entice us into a mindset that you have to have big capacity and shaft drive to go to the shops let alone circumnavigate the world. I’m currently planning some initially modest adventures of my own, and so I’m eagerly enjoying and absorbing your back catalogue of videos. Many thanks for such splendid content. Oh, and your English is fantastic.

I think, the Yamaha absolutely should take many idea from the Master Pavlin who drive 100.000 km with same bike. I 'd been watched many TENERE videos on the web, these were not as usefull and pratical as like this. His machine evolved "personal superbike" with his experience and open mind.This is a greate back-up info and i'm sure this huge knowledge could be a treasure for YAMAHA, i hope they use it for next generation "SUPER TENERE"...

Great mods. More extreme than mine but great bike. A great mod on mine is an automatic TUTORO chain oiler. Does not need engine vacuum and means no need to use aerosol on chain everyday. Also I have cup a holder on handlebars so I can use travel mug and have coffee in the morning. My friends say I am much nicer after coffee in morning so perhaps this is for them and not me! But I think we all agree xt660z is a great bike

Hello there, another Berliner expat here, really enjoying your great videos :) Very informative! If you happen to know any place in Berlin where one can do such modifications without having to own their own equipment like a hydraulic press or a vice or specialized drills etc I would be grateful if you shared the information, I've been meaning to do some of them myself as well but unfortunately I of course do not have the equipment - or the know-how for some... Keep up the good work!! Many greetings from a Greek-Berliner. (P.S. That is some serious riding in the end, hahah, it's nice to finally see some proper motorcycle action in the country that is missing it the most...)

Nice video!Lots of smart mods. I would like to know what;s your average speed travelling on road?did pc,exhaust and air filter improved your average spped too or only the torque?
@motorcycleadventures
@motorcycleadventures 7 жыл бұрын
Hi, I usually riding with 110-120 km per hour. The mods I made can't improve your top speed. If you want to do it, you have to change the gearing. Try with 16/45 instead of 15/45, but keep in mind that your first gear will be to long and to slow. The exhaust and power commander will help only with the torque. You will have more power on the low rews.

Hello Pavlin! Big fans of your KZfaq channel and just followed you on instagram! We are two friends travelling Europe on two 2009 660 Tenere's and one of our bikes has the same WR450 upside down forks with a KTM fender. On that bike it's clear to see the inside of the fender rubs on the forks and around the dust seal and already we've replaced the seals 2 times in the last 2 months. Have you experienced this and do you have any suggestions in your experience?

Undo the housing that clamps around the throttle cables and onto the throttle grip. You will see that the cable ( the pull one) sits on top of its plastic guide. You need a drill or a round file to create a channel about 20 mm long and 2-3mm deep (experiment )for the cable to sit in , just the pull cable ...not the return one. It's a very small mod but will make a huge difference in the smooth operation of the throttle! Steve
