Hey guys, in this video we are going to show you how to install GYTR fan kit mod on 2020 Yamaha YZ250FX. I think these are the must have mods for any offload dirt bike out there. Question please, do they make fans for both sides? Is it to much for the stator to have two fans?

only one side, you dont need 2 fans

is there a way to mount a fan on bike without a battery i have CRF 450R but it's HM thats mean it has 18 rear fly wheel and it have headlight and stop light ?!

It depends, do some research and find out if the stator makes enough power for it.

Do you have a part number or link for that fan. I got one for my bike but it came with a 2 pin connector and my bike had a 3 pin

I have a yz250f and my radiators don’t have the mounts for the bolts. What fans do I use then?

check yamaha website, they might have one for you.. if not you need to go aftermarket, probably trailtech

I dont get how this is unavailable on rmatvmc and I can't find the big bore kits either for the yz250fx. what sites are you using to get these parts? they seem like unobtainium almost I can't find it available anywhere

Do you know if the YAMAHA OEM FAN can be installed on a YZ450f. . I mean is the ECU preset for a fan? Please ask your friends....like Clark, ive searched but couldn't find a definitely answer abot the ECU

i think its about time to look into it.. we did complete rebuild on my buddies fe350 with 248h and valves needed to be replaced

aftermarket will probably work, is you have high output stator..

did you make sure the bike is hot? ecu kicks it on when you are hot, maybe around 180 degrees or so.. you can test it with 12volts and some probes connecting to the wires inside the connector.

@@dirtniron i rode a slow technical trail but i dont know how hot it was. my street bike fan comes on at like 220. we will see.

Okay my man rekluse and lectron installed and ready to rock. I did find that running it slowly it heats up but cools great if moving. Just let me know when you want to check it out!

fair enough Wayne, thanks for the feedback. Its not about getting better, CA has a lot of wild fires and the spark arrestor is required on the trails, rangers actually stop you and check for it. the fan is like $75 and helps a ton in low speed trail riding. I have no problem showcasing mods I use and like.. its part of a dirt bike life..
