もしくは、所有していない場合は山の所有者の許可を得て山採りしています。
Mountain harvesting is done in the mountains I own. Or, if I don't own it, I'm harvesting it with the permission of the owner of the mountain.

Thank-you sen-se! I live in the Eastern United States in the high peaks region of the Catskill Mountains. Here the soil is clay with many rocks. But along the edge of the old forest the sphagnum moss encera large tree has many seedlings growing. Most particularly Spruce as well as Yellow and Paper Birch. I am investigating if these would make good bonsai regardless that they are not traditional species of bonsai. May I share some photos for you to see?
