In this video we walk through the suburb of Yanchep in Perth, Western Australia.
This is a northern suburb of Perth that will soon get its own railway station. Yanchep is a growing suburb and very popular with families and anyone wanting the beach lifestyle.

So much land around Perth and they only sell 300 sqm blocks even out there . Crazy

Exactly - that's our major gripe with land developers. There's no need for such small blocks.

Secret harbour has better options for schools for us walking distance which is really convenient. I suspect they will be building some more in the future in Yanchep

Yes. As the suburb grows they will add more amenities including schools.

Hey thanks for this footage and the mention 👍. Yes very similar to Secret Harbour probably with more potential with the train line. Could see us living here aswell close to beach still affordable, modern houses. Keep up the good work I expect a flower on the ear next time

Hello VOTL, big fan of your videos. Seeing the sprawling buildings across Yanchep and other Perth suburbs, the question that keeps coming to mind is: where are the people? The empty streets look like a scene off of The Walking Dead. Is this because of the climate? Or are these houses unoccupied? Why's there a rental crisis then? Sorry, this is my whinge of the day 😃. Great job you're doing 👏🏽

Perth only has 2.3 million people..that's why it's quiet. Especially when you're 50 60 ks out of the city .I wish I lived out there on the beach 😅

@ACDZ123 is right - we aren't a densely populated city so our suburban streets aren't that busy when walking around.

they at work mate. You could contrast that with a place like Rockingham where theres plenty of people walking around the place doing drug deals etc.
