Caught tunas, groupers, and snappers. I caught a handful of fish off camera, so I took a guess on how many I caught on Day 2.

Welcome back, haven't seen you in a while. Is the Pulley Ridge trip considered Atlantic Ocean? I thought they would be Red Snapper fishing with the rest of the Gulf of Mexico.

No, it’s the gulf. I believe they stay closer to shore for Red snapper fishing.

@theanglercrew7059 How deep were you fishing? Was your rig with a Bankhead and what looks like a 10ft leader what they recommend or the typical Atlantic setup? Haven't seen that on a partyboat before.

Did you bring a chair of some sort to sit down on? Seems like you were sitting down when reeling?!I am going soon and wondering.

Dang, nice!!! My buddies and I wanted to go this year, but we had other plans and have to skip. No, we didn’t bring chairs, but some people sit on the benches and fish when they are tired if their rail # is in front of the benches. Mates will be running back and forth and chairs might get in the way IMO, but you should check with the admin. Tight lines!!!

I am planning to takem my son on a 4 day next year...but trying to stay in the tackle requirement is hard,especially finding mutu hooks...did you stick strictly to the requirement tackle?

I would say so. All my bottom fishing rods were 8’ with 50lb braid + 25-30 feet of 50 lb leader. My hooks weren’t Mutu, but Mustad perfect circle and Owner circle hooks. My jigging rods are slightly shorter. That’s my plan. Taking one of my kids in the trip when they are old enough. Tight lines!
