At 2:40 the two people at the right of the view are me and my father at the Newark Wye. I was 12 at the time, holding the Zenith VHS-C camcorder. Thanks for this perspective. It brings back fond memories. Great camera work on your part, as well!

I used to railfan with my dad too. He appears briefly in my video "Too many pigs, not enough horses." I'm glad I caught that vignette of you and your dad. Most railfans I know were introduced to the hobby by their fathers.

@@kingofthemonsters3712 Which one what? You mean which car? I was in the lounge car just ahead of the obs car (as shown in the video). It was a fantastic day trip. especially on our return to the Bay area at night - going down Jack London Sq.
