Man, do I remember the buc knives back in the 80's.My Jr and sr year in highschool,a lot of guys pretty much showed these knives off when taking about deer hunting.Of course these knives were used in the processing of game.

Most knives are lost. I've never lost a knife because I love them just like you do. I found a knife they stopped making in 1940. They started in 1800s. I love watching your show. Combat Veteran 2nd ID 03 04 Iraq.

Thank you very much!! Search for Author Houston Price. Collecting Knives. They made 15 editions. 15th is the best one and it’s the last one made. It was published in 2008. Thank you again for those kind words!!

I learn tons here,,, really like my Barlow's,,, and I never knew when they are giant like that they're called, Big Daddy Barlow. I found one, Japanese by Sabre.

That's the famous "Strawberry Bone" on the Robeson.... that along with being a big single blade Barlow makes it quite desirable. The Caribbean blue Case Copperlock is really a nice find as well... those 2 alone are well worth more than he paid. SF brother keep up the great videos.

I have one of the Coloniel Hobo knives, i eat with it daily by trade im a HazMat Propane delivery driver, and i use it for my breakfast and lunch on the weekdays. Great knives.

You've inspired me enough to go on my first knife hunt today. I know you like the usa made knives but I picked up a rough rider barlow for a good price. Oh n funny thought on those green gloves you wear, I can picture the Grinch behind the camera for some reason. Thanks for your videos and being an inspiration to me and I'm sure to others.

Glad you like the hobo and jack knife, when I ran across them and checking them out, I was impressed with the snap of the jack. Been knife hunting today and bought 2 Great Eastern knives and got 2 knife books. Enjoyed the video.

You welcome on the knives, I would like it if you could get a few dollars for them on your auction but that’s totally up to you. The books are Great Eastern Cutlery An American Tradition and Houston Price 14th edition price guide, didn’t realize it till I got home but I already had one😂😂. I will probably put it in my locker at work.

I got a large boker stockman with a broken spring on main blade .I wished I could get it fixed .it was my grandma's carving knife

LOL!! I have collectors badges with individual slots for my nice knives. I keep the part knives in a big tote with lid. I keep some part knives together like case XX, schrade, and some camping knives.

hello from the tennessee valley, north alabama. the value of the big daddy barlow is so cool but it being a book from 2008 it made me wonder, did the publisher of that particular book make more recent editions? if so it would be really interesting to know the current value on lots of your knives, like the barlow sheepshoof case tested xx knife you bought for 5 bucks.

Am i the only one that gets all upset the way people sharpen the blades and scratch the heck out of them, learn to sharpen your knives, people...SMH 😢
