Next time you use Flitz, try rubbing in with aluminum foil. I was given that tip from a gentleman that restored vintage bikes. It works incredible. I enjoy you channel. I'm a full time knife sharpener.

Always liked the boker and primble sway backs , I have a John primble just like yours which is made by Boker , long pinched bolsters set them apart.Really good job tuning up that congress you got there.

Nice work cleaning up the Boker! Rather than sanding down the Boker Shield would it have been possible to drill out the handle shield inset to fit the larger shield?

You could, but You could also mess up the handle that way. Then you would have to replace the handle. You can always get another shield.

Just picked up a Boker 7374 Premium Punch Stockman that's missing a shield. Where can i find one? I'd even trade you a 95% new zippo (A VIII1992)for one. Keep up the good work

I don’t have any. You can contact Boker. Measure the width of the shield hole in MM. they’ll ask for that.
