Age wise yes, but I don’t think Japanese has a word for just “sister.” The Japanese word for a sibling ALWAYS denotes the gender and age difference (older or younger).

Well, their twins yet even between Twins (as seen in DB) there is one that is called the older one by the other. Right Rom and Ram? Yea, console wise your 3 years appart, in universe wise your the same age (because TWINS) yet one is the more bashfull, leading one. The same hits here from what i saw till now (wich is basicaly 2 scenes of Moroha meeting her parents, and those 3 fight ones just now that need to be watched together), Setsuna IS the older in mind of the two, the more rational one, thus she acts like the older sister.

Isn't she part priestess though?... Their spirituality and ability to heal others seem to be just as powerful as the raw strength of a demon. But I guess Mohora will learn more about taking advantage of that as she matures. I just don't want this series to keep making her seem "less than" just because she's not as physically strong as full or half demons.

@@Reed325 I’m only halfway through season 1 so I might be missing something but from what I’ve seen so far I don’t now how you could even compare them to inuyasha they’re so weak it’s ridiculous even taking tetsaiga out of the equation and just comparing them to base inuyasha they don’t come anywhere close

Yeah but she’s only quarter demon so she has less demonic blood to control. Furthermore, her spiritual powers also help seal her powers. Inuyasha never had that privilege.

It’s a fair power division. Towa got more of Sesshomaru’s raw power just very little of his poison, but Setsuna got most of his poison and little of his raw power. Her blood is sealed and, given that Sesshomaru entrusted each twin with certain powers to inherit, he know Towa’s limit/gave her the demonic energy control he has, and Setsuna’s blood blade powers as well, and that’s enough. If anything, Towa was robbed of manifesting her own demonic blade and expressing her poison ability.

I say Towa: Setsuna may has the body of a demon but Towa has the calm of a demon + human soul. She was able to control her demon form in the fight against Kirinmaru and was there with a clear mind.

@@proudMudbl00D_6 that’s when she’s hanyō. A hanyō’s true worth comes through survival and controlling their yōkai blood. So far, Towa is the only one who has not gone berserk on her first exposure (unfortunately Inuyasha and Setsuna have).

They’re mere babies compared to Inuyasha who’s had time to grow into his demon heritage. I think the only one of two new generation hanyō who could meet Inuyasha at his level is literally Towa. She can do what he can’t: control her demon blood and use her demonic energy as a weapon. You do remember the dakki story arc, right? Towa can do that naturally.

Inu yasha had a powerful sword from his father to rely while Setsuna and towa rely on their own strength. They could be strong as inu yasha if sesshomaru gave them Bakusaiga and sounga

She’s 1/4 demon which is basically as good as human in the yōkai world. She’s as strong as she needs to be.

@@the-chipette People seem to forget that a lot, that her genetic and DNA is 75% human so she doesn't have the same power as a half demon or full demon would.

@@keyboardkets379 People did the same thing for Boruto they said his team 7 was to weak not realizing they were just starting out as shinobi. It's as if they expected Boruto as a kid to be taking on pain and Madara level threats.
