@@Qam001 there's an ikhwaneen muslimeen ideology, take a look about Banna's idea and his followers. Politic stuff. Can not remember right about how's his name in eg. Union regardless the differences. Even on falsehood it might be. Shia, Sunni, sufi etc one cocktail, some accept Christians and Jews. Main trait: go against the leader. Which is not acceptable for ahlu sunnah.

@@olro1190 well to be fair i agree with the original post to some extent. Yes we should be tolerant of our differences. Even the sahaba had differences yet they didnt kill each other. Rather they protected one another and would die for each other. Allah is the judge and he will Judge us all. You and me. Muslims are being killed and all we can think about is 'oh he isnt part of my school of thought so its OK let them die' thats the kind of backwards mentality we've got. Someone does rafaidayn during salah and some dont. So what? Whats the big deal? Both are correct or do you prefer those who mock religion and are killing millions of muslims around the world? I dont still know rightly what an ikhwani is, ill have to google it but we are all so petty that no wonder muslim countries are messed up. The enemies of islam 200 years ago started the divide and conquer tactic and still do. Funding various think tanks and causes for division and also outright killing muslims and yet what do we do? Behave like we are better than one group of muslims yet we cant better ourselves.

And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah . But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient. Sura Al Hadid Aya 27

At 1:14:50 We sent other messengers to follow in their footsteps. After those We sent Jesus, son of Mary: We gave him the Gospel and put compassion and mercy into the hearts of his followers. But monasticism was something they invented- We did not ordain it for them- only to seek God’s pleasure, and even so, they did not observe it properly. So We gave a reward to those of them who believed, but many of them were lawbreakers. [Al Hadid (57):27]

I'm always thinking that the stricter views of bid'a is always needed to keep the deen balance since, imho, people need to 'adjust' the practices of Islam in the right corridor, with some "bid'a" here and there. I think the existent of ikhtilaf in bid'a shows the perfection of Islam itself, in order to keep exist until the end of time.

All companions are from Ummat But all Ummat are not Companions. Below hadith is mentioning of those companions who started BIDAH. حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ أَنَا فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ، لَيُرْفَعَنَّ إِلَىَّ رِجَالٌ مِنْكُمْ حَتَّى إِذَا أَهْوَيْتُ لأُنَاوِلَهُمُ اخْتُلِجُوا دُونِي فَأَقُولُ أَىْ رَبِّ أَصْحَابِي‏.‏ يَقُولُ لاَ تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ ‏"‏‏.‏ Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount (Kauthar) and some men amongst you will be brought to me, and when I will try to hand them some water, they will be pulled away from me by force whereupon I will say, 'O Lord, my companions!' Then the Almighty will say, 'You do not know what they did after you left, they introduced new things into the religion after you.'" I TOTALLY DISAGREE with Dr. Yasir when he says that the Caliph Umar (ra) ONLY meant the LINGUISTIC meaning of Bid'ah when he said that the Taraweeh is a 'good bid'ah'. Quite the contrary, he, as one of the learned Sahaba and top companions of the Prophet, is very well aware of the TERMS that have added meanings in Islam, and since Bid'ah is one of the prominent concepts within Islam since the early days, you can only interpret his saying these words within that context of him KNOWINGLY intending to include the religious meaning of Bid'ah in his statement. His understanding of Islam is NOT the same as that of the people of Najd 1000 years later, or even that of 700 years later in Syria or Iraq. They were a LOT more liberal and less anal abt Bid'ah - in the religious sense - than ppl that came later who started to idolize and lionize the past and twisted Islam to a very restrictive way of thinking and practicing.
@nihilisticpoet
@nihilisticpoet 5 жыл бұрын
It was linguistic because the practice already existed in the time of the Prophet SAW. So no, Umar didn't create a new religious innovation but merely adopted one that was done briefly during the time of the Prophet SAW. But you don't mention that, do you? That's the crucial point that makes entire argument weak, if not null and void. I firmly believe, had Umar been alive today and knew that his words impacted discussion and acceptance of bid'ah today, he would wish he'd die before he uttered such a phrase.
