I think Yasmine falling in love with Demetri makes perfect sense. She's watched and sometimes taken part in bullying him for potentially years. She gets one taste of what it's like to be bullied back and have crowds of people laughing at her and realises the error of her ways. The fact that Demetri withstood that same trauma for so long and still stayed true to who he was (a nerdy, stereotypically uncool goofball) and didn't get sucked into the fake-badassery of Cobra Kai is probably very admirable to her.

@@JediBob yup I was happy that the good guys and bad guys are in the right team unlike in season 2 where it was blurred but it still depends on the audience who they perceive as the good guys or bad guys. But hawk and Robbie in my opinion are in their respective teams but I want Robbie to turn against cobra Kai eventually.

Three people did die -- all in the Vietnam flashback: executed guy when they first get caught, the guy thrown into the put during the pit introduction and the captain when Kreese shows him no mercy. This is what a really good show needs. Not this specific example, but this show has great character progression. Miguel, Hawk, Demetri, Robby, Yasmin… even Johnny and Daniel. It’s awesome. I’m seriously looking forward to the next season.

It probably would be funny but let's hope she doesn't. This show would probably become corny and lose some of it's appeal if every character featured starts taking Karate. This show still needs its fair share of "karate civilians" and Yazmine is better suited to remain one of them. Heck, I'd much rather see Yaz in a situation where she's getting harassed by Cobra Kais and Demitri comes to her rescue and cleans house.

Moon is Dmitriy friend thru Hawk. Moon sided with Dmitriy when Hawk became a bully. So when Yasmin returned to school, she and Yasmin joined Dmitriy for that science project. Dmitriy was not a push over anymore with Hawk and Cobra Kai, and that what catches Yasmin. He does not talk as much, he is smart and stands up for himself. Then he had arm broken by Cobra Kai and Hawk. That makes things more realistic. Plus, Yasmin is not tough into Karate or sports and got wedgied. They looked good.

The way Yas keeps looking imploringly at Demetri... I feel like they had a long conversation the night before about keeping up appearances, acting normal, etc. And then it all fell apart after like 3 minutes at school because they couldn't keep their hands off each other.

I kinda did and didn't see this coming. Even though she started actually talking to Demetri even if it was in a negative way. I do understand the empathy she had for him as it came to being bullied. I just felt the script would have made more sense if Demetri would have stood up to Kyler in their last fight scene and kicked his ass. It would have been a new level of confidence he would have gained that I felt was needed in this part of the series. In my opinion, I feel the writers screwed up significantly in this part of the series regarding Demetris's character. But overall I felt as a whole it was an amazing season and best one yet!
