Obviously Aespa's production is very SM, and it sounds like a lot of other SM groups'. But for some reason it always stands out to me. Maybe it just goes particularly well with the groups voices. Either way, loved these songs!

For the “I’m Unhappy” track video when they sing “I’m so Happy” my two theories is: A. They edited the song, so it does actually make sense at the end B. They are saying “I’m so happy” the same way one who is depressed gets up and look in the mirror and tells themself to smile. That whole, shits not okay rn, but Imma pretend it is.

The title track Spicy is coming out on MAY 8 TUNE IN everyone The snippet for Spicy from the music shows sounds so good already, i really really like the instrumental, I'm so excited

This is the most cohesive album ever to be released currently and i badly want SM entertainment to go all out with their pr teams and make those payola allegations from toxic fans come to life. Give them enough playlisting and shove aespa in everyone's throat the way Kakao and Hybe is doing with their groups. I need them to get their shit together with this comeback, aespa is their biggest money maker and group to date.

For the people saying they are losing their popularity... which may be. But their music is made for the ages. Aespa music actually requires LISTENING to music. I love their songs

Extremely excited for this album to drop! I have enjoyed songs like Illusion and Lucid Dream from aespa, but never really been a fan of their main sound, however these new teasers really makes me think I'm gonna enjoy this album a bunch.

I am a casual listener of Aespa but this album is seriously sounding so good! I love all of the track videos + WTMW so much! For me, their vocals are the best for 4th gen GG! I especially love Ningnings voice in all of the songs! ❤️

Yeah, this is aespa's storyline in the REAL WORLD, as opposed to KWANGYA. I think to fully understand the group, the SMCU series is pretty vital, it has three episodes detailing the creation of their AI counterparts, called ae, which are created based off data people post to social media (and since people only post edited photos of themselves and best aspects of their lives to social medi, the aes are perfect versions of themselves), the origin of the Black Mamba, created by malicious comments, rumors and deepfakes, naevis' story of being banished from KOSMO because she'd refused to murder the child of prophecy and which delve into social commentary about cyberbullying, expectations put on idols and perils of being replaced by AI technology. The songs' lyrics, imo, hit very differently after viewing these videos. Hopefully, it comes together if you decide to view the SMCU episodes! Thanks for reacting!
