The husband is the 2nd generation shopkeeper since 1950. His wife has been cooperating with him for a long time over 70 years. They know each other very well so can be predicted easily how to move next steps while setting up their lovely food stall.
Thank you.

I love how one can still eat at a hand-pulled food stall in one of the most advanced and developed societies in the world. I also love the spirit of the Japanese people especially the older generations. They built their country from post WWII ruins into what it is today, modern Japan. I am very touched by this video, seeing the work of this old couple and their assistant put in-- the preparation, the dedication, the attention to detail, the "ninniku seishin" or the resilient spirit that is unrelenting to the pressure of life’s difficulties. If I ever come across this food stall in Japan, it would be my honor to be served a meal by them.

The 79 old husband body is so solid and masculine despite the age really impressed me, thanks to years of pulling those heavy cart. I cant believe my eyes how many stuff inside when they set the stall. Whenever I'm travelling I always prefer those older stalls run by family. We can get all modern delicacies everywhere but those older recipes and are hard to find and should be treasured. Wishing them more healthy years to come!🥰

I agree they are much better. However you have to look at the amount of people they have. How many people are of an age and who is going there. America has three times the people. Those arrests include for anything crime related, including those crossing the border which are many. Japan also has a high elderly population. Most won't or are incapable of really commiting a crime and hoping to get away with it. Their youth is dwindling as they get older and Japan is having a hard time getting people to have more children. But again yes, Japan's population as a whole is much more reserved and well behaved. The government also generally listens and takes care of it's citizens. It has universal health care for instance.

@@akattom you've never been to Japan have you? Speaking strictly of the homeless there are many and they line the streets at night. Now they are generally well behaved homeless people. Ikr, it's crazy how it goes from a cart he pushes down the road to a full fledge restaurant. This one was really nicely done too.. from the cardboard on the ground to keep the sidewalk clean, to taping down all the wires and pulling them tight, to the clean towels covering the benches to make it feel cleaner and more comfortable. I'm always amazed to see them go thru all this setup knowing it's coming down that night and all to be done again in the morning. I could use some of that dedication and work ethic.
