This was the first music that I listened to on tape as a kid, a child...So, when I am listening to Yazoo, it is like some time machine, it is bringing memories of the 80s when I was a small kid. I love it...

J'ai 54 ans, quand j'ai écouté Alison Moyet j'avais 18 ans ça été le coup de foudre vocalement, C'est sans doute une des plus grande voix musicale, malheureusement pas mis en avant par les chaines musicales (trop industriel) qui perdure dans le temps. Musicalement vocalement exceptionnel 🥰💖💯🙏

Damn...what a transformation. I'm an 80's kid (gen something or the other, bleh) and remember Alf and Vince as Yazoo on totp and she was a lot different back then. She looks fucking amazing, bless her heart. It's almost Adele like how she's managed to change her physique, yet still retain that voice. The power, cadence, pitch, tone, passion and delivery is still there. But now, now there's this sexiness in the way she moves. A self-belief, a casting off of the shackles of disdain that society foists upon curvy girls, a liberation and freedom of expression. I can't stop watching her dance. It's mesmeric....😵💫

This EPIC Dance hit is still as AWESOME now is it was damn near four decades back, as this hit from the founder Vince Clarke, who also was the catalyst for two iconic 80s groups (Yazoo was his precursor group before developing both Depeche Mode & Erasure) making it big onto the Pop-Synch arena. Alison Moyet’s vocals are so freakin amazing, as she is simply the Joan Jett of Pop-Synch & Dance, as she did it HER way fuckers! 🍻❤️🔥🤘🏼❤️🔥🍻

Song reminds me of College, Upstairs at Eric's was one of 3 cassettes I had for my car. Allison and her music are part of who I am. Still listen to her music when I am on long drives.

To me she is one of the most underrated stars of all the 80's, Vince Clarke too was a monumental talent who created a huge amount of great hits. Both deserve so much more recognition...

bOMG over 40 years and this tune has not lost its energy! Remember dancing to this back in '82 when it first came out. Blended in well during the waning days of disco. Wouldn't have it any other way!!!!! 🎵🎶
