Maughlin has some deep rough lore. He's like Prometheus in Greek mythology. He drops one of the best armor sets increasing soul gain. And his punishment is to become part of the Rotten; of whom is a collection of all the Maughlins killed across the multiverse. And because the Rotten is one of the best boss farms it doesn't get any better. Like the liver of Prometheus that regrows, so does the Rotten every time a bonfire ascetic is used

This dude did 100 playthroughs of this game, beats the rotten up like hes a demon against a toddler even on ng+4 but really just died to last giant dawg that got me rolling

As for Fume Knight vs Ivory King, you have to remember that Crown of the Old Iron King was released a couple of months before Ivory King, and when Fume Knight appeared on the scene, he was by far, and i mean BY FAR, the hardest boss in From Soft history at the time, so he left quite an impression. Nowadays, compared to bosses like Orphan of Kos, or Friede, or Ishin, or Malenia, he is literally a joke. But back then he seemed impossible. Now as for resins, they do not just add 50 flat damage. It is quite more complex than that. Also keep in mind that no matter what the tooltip says, when you infuse a weapon it has to go through 2 different defenses, so infused weapons do not always do more damage, even if they have IN THEORY higher attack rating.

I was very proud of myself when I did the SL1 run, but seeing this guy not using the Peasent's Set, changing the mace for the Uchi/Zweihander makes me want to step up my game. Here I go, spending another 30 hours in this game again.... Nice fight against Alone; it was cleeeeeeaaan.

On my first playthrough hardest for me was actually Sir Alonne Might be mostly because I fought him with an UGS, while using a straight sword for everything else 😅 Reime was my favourite boss and the boss I spent all my ascetics on, so I don't think it's fair for me to judge rn

I play the ps3 version of SotFS Some tips: The club is a great weapon that can carry you The Ice Rapier is one of the best weapons you can own. You can powerstance broken short swords. Why would you? Idk it still does less damage than a broadsword per each swing Naked + Silvercat Ring = access to the Pit. Bring lifegem

Every other sl1 video shows the same optimized build: Cale's helmet, peasant set, rapier, etc Meanwhile my man Yaz rolls into Shulva early game, beats up the witch and the dragon like they're some tutorial bosses, snatches the crown, then proceeds to obliterate the population of Drangleic with a crystal buffed zwei... on a character with 6 points in every stat! Easily the most creative sl1 run I've seen. Thank you for another great video Yaz.

The Roaring Halberd should actually be pretty good on an SL1 character; on my hexer build with 45/45 int/faith, I was actually getting more damage out of the weapon when infused with Raw, and only got about 60 extra points of damage from my scaling, so it should perform similarly on SL1

did you know there is a mask that makes you imune to curse on the old iron king dlc? is on a elevator after you activate then, just keep hiting "A" or "X" on the wall while the elevator is moving the secret door will appear

I'm doing SL1 Deprived + Covenant of Champions + No Armor + Consumable + Broken Straight Sword run right now. Iron Keep is definitely my worst nightmare especially those Alonne Knights fcker. I finally gave up on that area and decided to go farm some souls until 1 mil souls memory to unlock Shrine of Winter. I hope i can beat the game or atleast the main game. Idk why am i doing this to myself 😂.
