Once I told a friend of mine that I am GOD, and he laughed saying that he doesn’t believe it. But when a random person draped in a cloth started claiming that he is god, my friend believed immediately. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ My divine sentiments got hurt and humanity must suffer for that.😡

I'm a theist, and I agree 100% to what you said. In my opinion 99% of the time, humans are good at identifying the effect. When trying to trace back the cause, often unfounded opinions come into picture and they fight for the claim to be right. What humans forget in the process is that, their opinion is a mere conjecture rather than theory and there needs to be work done to prove the conjecture. The arrogance to say that god exists and nothing else is bull crap. when one is not present at the time of the cause and one has only observed the effect then how can one be so sure of the cause with such a limited information and theorize that? In my eyes for someone who follows scientific process the question @vimoh is placing is 100% valid. I'm a meagre individual in my study of vedas, but in the short study I've done so far one thing strikes me is there is so much skepticism that exists in the vedic literature and the text itself. The questions are always from a contrarian perspective. When the vedic literature itself is questioning and being a skeptic then I believe the so called people who's preaching are supposedly based on vedas should follow suit and always question and learn in that process. @vimoh Kudos to you and the path in which you're going, more and more people should realize that.

One more things I found out they say is, if you want to see God, then what qualification do you have or what did you do? then if I say what should I do, they give me their own methods of finding God and when I question how do you know this method is the true way of reaching God, then they say "you first try it and then you will understand" How you counter these type of arguments?

I have also met genuine Agnostics, but in Indian context, the Agnostic I have met follow all kinds of Religious Practices and Are influenced by Religious Gurus, etc , but just to get rid of the Burden of Proof which comes with Religion, they pretend to be Agnostic, other otherwise those are typical Religious People. And I sometimes feel a deep plot to create split and hamper Rationalism in India

How to confront emotional theists because they are rigid enough to their baseless beliefs that leave significant impact on the society but they are not directly damaging society. But indirectly fueling bad propaganda. They are not innocent but they don't want to be aware. Because they are emotional, I cannot argue with their prejudices. can someone please open this dabba! edit: i think you missed an opportunity to explain frame of reference in this video. i felt it was important to explain that to test if the box has a khajur, you can for example get an identical box and put a khajur in it and weigh it. you can also shake this box and compare the sound it makes with the original box. if it weighs and sounds similar then we are closer to proving the khajur. but the very lack of frame of reference is what gives religion away.

I would prefer bidirectional talk at least (not omnidirectional) for such critical context. It has scope of huge discussion. Let's take this example. A holds a food item and claims to B that it is cooked by himself/herself. What the option is available for B, either accept or deny. Now Q will be, who should first be interested to keep evidence ready while claiming? If B accepts, matter ends. If B says- I don't agree. Then what? Whose responsibility is to show evidence first? Is it A who claims at first place? Or is it B who denies accepting? Or nobody requires any evidence, everybody wins? As food item has been already prepared, if no continuous video recording is made from the time of cooking to claiming time, A can't provide any evidence other than claiming. At other side, B can have historical evidence of A for not cooking but can't be enough to disagree. Still if we summarize, affirmative claim has more responsibility to provide evidence than negative claim. For god's analogy, evidence is more applicable for claiming god's existence than claiming its nonexistence. Let's assume, there was god. Is it strong argument, even though there is no evidence but still we need to accept that god has created universe and all living things? Or has it created only human not any other living things? What is god's validity? Does god still exist? Perhaps, answer would be, yes. How, so? Do we have any clarity on god's performance or track record since universe creation? In easy language, what are things it can do and what it can't? Many living things are abolished in time and many are taking birth still. Does god responsible for birth but not dying? Who created 'corona virus'? Is it same god? or does it have any enemy counterpart? There will be lots of such question. We should have answer for these valid questions to conclude that there is god. But answer like ' I feel god' is meaningless/ineffective and kind of lie. BTW, just sad events happened within last 02 days, 02 men (I was knowing both of them since my childhood) were died in our village and nearby village. One is suicide and another one is heart failure. Just wondering whether god's existence or responsibility is involved with these deaths.

Reality is subjective and personal conclusions are often based on biases. Both the Theist and Atheist are on the same boat. Most Atheist have emotional intelligence but most Theists lack it. Indian Ideologies do have a legacy of debates and questioning. Watching this video reminded me of the Nasadiya Suktam of the Rigved. Btw, Great Points Vimoh bhai 📌
