Ye Olde Steakhouse is one of Knoxville's premier dining establishments.
It is also the "official" steakhouse of the Tennessee Volunteers, and has been featured on several television shows, including "Man vs. Food" and "Taste Of the Town".
They are known for their outstanding steaks, and their prime rib.

Don’t forget that one of the most popular stars in country music and music in general has been there….Toby Keith! This is on our list of places to try. Cheesesticks looked good. The baked potatoes looked fresh. Hate when you are served reheated potatoes. Both steaks looked like they were prepared to perfection. The portions looked very generous. I really believe y'all would love this place. Yes, the potatoes were fresh. And they were hot enough to melt my butter, which is a big plus for me. We always enjoy our experience there. I knew a lot of famous people had been there, and just couldn't remember to name all of them. But yes, it is a very popular place in Knoxville. Hope you all get to try it soon.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and overall, it was a delightful experience. However, I did encounter an issue with one of the dishes I ordered as a side - the green beans. Regrettably, they were too salty for my liking. Fortunately, the waitress was incredibly understanding and promptly replaced the dish with another one. She informed me that the owner was made aware of my concern and attributed it to one of the cooks adding too much "Tiger Spice," which she told me is MSG. I wanted to take a moment to share this information, particularly for those who may have a sensitivity to MSG. Despite this minor setback, I still plan on returning to the restaurant. On a separate note, I wanted to take this opportunity to express my admiration for your videos and encourage you to keep producing them.

We ate there too once on one of our trips to the area.. I thought it was very good. Loved the decor inside.

I live in Knoxville and have been eating here since the 1970s. I've never had a better steak.

Wow! All looked good! I lived for one year in Whapeton, ND. Right on the MN border. Me? While there, I'd be all over that Walleye while I had a chance! Have a safe, fun, great trip! Looking forward to the videos. Beautiful state, too.

We have actually been to Wahpeton, believe it or not. On one of our past trips here years ago, I wanted to be able to say I had been in North and South Dakota, so we drove up to the southeast corner of North Dakota near there, and then clipped the northeast portion of South Dakota, before entering back into Minnesota. We are planning to drive up to Fargo and have lunch one day while we're here.

I live just a few miles from this steakhouse but have never tried. I like the looks of the food but you left me with the biggest question ? Price? Would have been nice if you shared to total meal ticket as most bloggers do. Ball park what did that meal run you ?

We sometimes do show the ticket, and sometimes we forget. But one thing we always do every time, is we show the menu with the prices, and then we say what we got off of that menu. We did that in this video, as well. Totaling up what we got, comes to $83 before tax, and before tip. It's a great place. Thank you for watching!

I went to the Sawgrass Steakhouse in Knightdale NC. I ordered the Pat’s Ribeye. It was 1 of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. What about Kenny Chesney? Had he eaten there? He is a local and huge UT fan. Will you be reviewing the largest Buc cee’s? It just opened in Tennessee. NC is getting their 1st Buc cee’s at Mebane NC . It’s in the planning stages

Saltgrass is great. I wish it was closer to where we lived. We are not reviewing the Buc-ees individually, but once I post the video of our drive to Minnesota, I do show where we went inside of it. And I do a walk through of it. Hopefully, I can have that video up in a couple of days.

Those napkins should be in your laps, that's so if something drops off your utensils, it'll go in your lap and not be a mess. First thing one should do is unravel your napkin and place onto your lap. Sorry, but that's basic dining etiquette.

Yeah, I normally just go to eat, and not worry so much about dining etiquette. I use the napkin far more on the table, than I would in my lap. I wipe my hands much more than I spill anything in my lap.

I second that. You don't wipe things with dinner napkins, either! You fold it up discreetly and dab or blot. Napkins are meant to be in one's lap.

You're not supposed to wipe your hands with a dinner napkin. It's proper etiquette. if you're that messy, you need to excuse yourself and go to the restroom to wash up.

Because we are not concerned what some anonymous stranger on KZfaq thinks is proper etiquette. If there's a napkin on the table and we need it, then it's getting used.

@rah62 LOL...You're out of your mind. I'd love to know what either one of you think about the guy behind her, that had it in his lap, but then picked it up and wiped his mouth with it. I guess y'all were too focused on criticizing my wife. You can't get much more ridiculous than that. If it means that much to you, tell my wife how she should be eating with me standing there. You will learn some proper etiquette yourself.
