18:19 that was not Imu's action, but the Mother Flame, one of Vegapunk's creations, and the WG depends on them to manufacture more of it. It just happened to be used by IMU on that occasion.

14:42. Sakazuki sits at his desk all day due to being fleet admiral. He’s the head of the marines to strategise and only come out in the very worst case scenario. If he was still admiral he already would’ve attacked the straw hats and many other pirates. It’s also why sengoku stayed at the execution platform for most of the summit war rather than attack whitebeard, as the fleet admiral only attacks when attacked.

one thing to add is 1st of all we see other government officials for example there are soldiers who do executions for ex ace and roger, who seem different than marine soldiers AND also for ex during water 7, we see some unknown government dudes, who aren't apart of the cipher pol officials, for example the old guy who sentenced tom's trial for building the oro jackson and also we know some marine soldiers are able to use haki from dressrosa arc when they were trying to stop the birdcage

there are theories that imu could possibly be a descendant of the original imu but also there are a few people (besides the gorosei) who know about imu's existence for example we see a servant during imu's chamber when the gorosei were called who addresses imu sama and we know that king cobra died for knowing that imu existed, some people speculated that this person could've actually been a holy knight

also not sure if you are ranking some of the OG marines in their primes or current age but if this was like sengoku during prime or as fleet admiral, then I can't see greenbull being stronger and if they were in their prime or when sengoku was fleet admiral, garp and sengoku would be around the same level and we don't know a lot about tsuru's capabilities yet

There's a theory , and a very plausible one , that Garling (the god knight you are talking about) is Shanks's father . In the manga, young Garling looks a lot like Shanks. Another fact is that in film Red, gorosei thought that Utah ( Shanks's daughter) was a figarland . Figarland is Garling's last name. While movies are not canon, Oda includes things that are later shown in the manga hence they become canon.
