@@diegobaleiron4239Dominance in this case means to dominate the division for years. Conor’s rise was impressive and he was dominant in that time period but he’ll never be known to dominate the divison like Aldo, Holloway and Volkanovski.

If your motivation is your family then you're definitely doom. People kill steal, loot, cheat just for their family. The rise of Conor Mcgregor is the real definition of motivation. One can argue about the villain Borz, the peoples champion Colby covington. You see when one uses their family as motivation, they get too emotional and too much emotions makes a fighter crumble just like the unexpected depression of volcanovsky, emotional Cody garbrandt. They may achieve temporary success but not for long

My favourite UFC fighter. Just an inspiration all-round. Conducts himself like a gentleman, isnt one to shirk away from challenges and dares to be great. Also an inspiration to bald and short man. Hope MMA fans appreciate him to the fullest while he is around. I see a lot of people suddenly saying that they miss Kamaru but didn appreciate him while he was around. Volk is always active defending his title and the featherweight division will miss 2 legends when him and Max are retired.

I read a comment on the Michael Bisping episode of Year of the Fighter. The comment began by saying the person started off hating Bisping, but the end Bisping was one of his favorite fighters ever. And that comment really explains to a T how I started off feeling about Volk to how I view him now. I really though Holloway won the second fight and the first one was extremely close. And I am a giant Max Holloway fan. So I was really disappointed. I will say I do not think this 2 fights were a robbery. Volk won them both. But it has been Volks body of work after those 2 fights that really grabbed my attention and made me have to open my eyes and realize I was witnessing greatness in its finest form and in its prime. Its safe to say that he is easily one of my favorite active fighters and he will be one of my favorite of all time. I absolutely love his attitude. The way he fights, his heart, and his determination to find the toughest challenge he can find and then throw himself into it full on. He is an outstanding fighter and its really a treat every time he steps in the cage. I love his KZfaq channel as well. So to Volk, you've absolutely earned your respect. You are one of the best now and when you retire you will be one of the absolute legends of the game. Much respect from 🇺🇲

Being the featherweight and lightweight champ imo is easily the hardest 2 weight classes to rule. Islam is a special fighter, no shame in losing to him, especially the short notice loss

For my money, hes the greatest 145er to ever do it.. I also think that in a fight to the finish. With proper preparation and good health, that he beats makhachev at least 50% of the time. The best 145er and a easy contender in the best 5 fighters to ever live
