Thank you, George, this is an epic share. Found you much later than I would have liked; many failed beards; longest growth was 5 months and you've addressed everything I ever confronted and wondered about, but when you went to the jailtime 'thing', as amazing as all the other vids are, you took me to another level. Just started my first yeard and it's on my bucket list to make a year or two and get together with you, in the chair, for your magic and love, as I meet and dance my last years. Thank, m'friend.

I have had a long beard for over 30 years and have learned more on proper care with your videos than any barber I have gone to. As far as women and beards, the longer the beard the fewer the women that like it. Too masculine for many to deal with. I'm married and she ain't crazy about it but accepts it. My advice find a hippie chick.

Excellent video, it's great to hear you talk openly and candid. I couldn't have imagined the journey my beard growth has taken me, the changes to my life over the 14 months has had ups and downs. I found getting involved with a beard club was great for my social life, like minded people and the females I've met that enjoy the beard culture, it's been great support. Thanks for your videos and advice, you've always helped to keep me motivated

I'm just over 4 months on my first beard and was at a crossroads with it, having not trimmed it except for straightening the neckline. Then Bruno worked his magic on it and I am back in love with it and more importantly so is my wife. I get compliments from people who haven't seen me with it before. Do what you want to do, ignore haters and ignorance.

I've taken all your advice since I first subbed at only a couple thousand subs. I was very obsessive the first time around, trimmed way too much. I shaved in July last year and started over in January. I've taken all your advice for my beard this time around. Haven't trimmed it once. And even though it's only been about 3ish months, already I can see it looks SO MUCH better than the first time around.

I'm a tattooed, Harley-riding church pastor who has been growing out my beard and hair for 17 months (one very slight trim at 1 year). My beard is just shy of 12 inches long. I look a lot more like John the Baptist than Joel Osteen. Some of the folks in my congregation do not approve of my appearance, but most of them have gotten used to it. The longer my beard and hair gets, the more I feel like I look the way a natural man is supposed to look. I am way past the point of worrying about what society views as an "acceptable appearance" for a man of God. I am not growing my beard to please anyone else. I'm growing it because I like it. Have another cup of coffee and go ride your motorcycle! Wind therapy is good for your soul!

Yours is a majestic beard, George! It grieved me to go back to a goatee, but for now, I'm enjoying the variety of double edge blades, the Merkur 34C, the Edwin Jagger, all the different shaving soaps and after shaves, and the welcoming embrace of wife and daughter. Your advice about prison "ministry", in any way, shape or form is priceless and blesses you as much as those you visit. As far as coffee drinking, I'm currently enjoying DeathWish Coffee! You're a handsome, rugged rascal with a great laugh and smile. You obviously have lots of world experience and definitely care about others. Not everyone can grow or have the patience to grow a beard like yours, but you certainly wear it well. One of the things I admire most about you is that you make the beard, the beard doesn't make you. You could be clean shaven and still be an influence to others. Yes, I love my coffee .... and I have to get one of those Grumpy mugs for my collection. Best wishes to you and all your loved ones.

Hey George, I understand the dilemma that comes with the decision to shave or not to shave especially after so much time and effort. I ended up shaving my 8 month beard back in November but have recently started the journey again as of March 1st. Now I was only at 8 months, where you are now at month 20! So I understand the dedication and commitment that you've put into your journey. You made the yeard, your first goal along with reaching the 3rd button and then looked forward to the tweard (is that what it's called lul) and letting it grow and letting it flow. So as I see it, you can either continue growing for the next 4 months and reach the 2 year mark, or shave and start all over from scratch and this time resist the urge to trim. I love your beard and respect your knowledge of beard care but as much as I love the beard, I would also love to see you shave and begin the journey again and this time you'd have 20,000 others right along with you! Whatever you decide, I will cotinue to come and share in the experience. Cheers!

I honestly think every guy should grow a beard once in their life. Because it's life changing and for me personally it's helped me not care about what other people think. Some people have that already dialed in and my hats off to them. I had no idea how thick and full my beard abilities were and how it has been a great conversation piece. I've been following you through my journey and started with your beard videos and as you involved you videos so did my outlook on life and my beard. Thank you George for all your advice across the board and for helping me to simply love myself and learn patience and grow as a man. 👊

Im on month 3 and as time goes on its lookin better and better. The women love it. I think its because facial hair is the true mark of a man. Todays guys like to look the part but cant play the role. Thanks for all your advice George its helped me alot. Funny story for you. I was just wondering when do I trim this thing what do I do? The longest I ever grew a beard was three months due to the fact I hate shaving and maybe only shave once a month anyway. But after stumbling across one of your videos I decided to try do your yeard challange. In my second month now, one month less than my longest run. However while I have no desire to shave it and am confident I can go a year, I am constantly obsessing about my beard this time round because I know I'm in for a year. It used to be just grow a beard and shave whenever I get round to it but now I'm constantly checking it, looking in the mirror for growth or patches. So maybe it is the knowing and trying to grow a beard that makes us obsess instead of just letting it do its thing and forgetting it there. Because before I decided to do a yeard, I just didnt think of shaving for a few months and forgot about my facial hair. But the yeard is making me obsess

I’m 50yrs old and this is my first beard. I never tried until almost two years ago the wife gave recommendation. It’s been prob about 20 months now and my beard isn’t near the length of yours. I have trimmed the sides up but always had goal for length. I have learned so much from your videos your right you just have to go for it. My biggest regret in this journey is the trimming but like you say if I could hit the reset button. You can’t. And you don’t want to start all over so what do you do??

It’s true that having a beard is more masculine. But guys think beards are way more cool than girls do unfortunately. I generally hear negative feed back about my 11 monther. But on the other hand about half a dozen dudes I work with have started growing. So that must mean something. Advice. Don’t trim the sides. I did for the first 6 months and now wish I hadn’t. If you leave it the sides will eventually lay down the way you want it to. And the shape will look way more natural.

I chopped my beard off last year because I found that people were becoming incredibly hostile towards me. Seriously, everyone started giving me a major attitude. I was growing it for 10 months, it was approx 9" long. This time I'm just going to deal with the 'tude. I've been growing it out for 8 months now but interestingly, it's only about 5 1/2". I've been dieting lately and I think that might be stunting my growth, we'll see come the next few months because last time those last couple months were turbo-beard (probably just the curve going out).

I get plenty of "wisdom" impressions too, but I think individuals who grow a sage beard were already apt to be sage-like. For me, people had always asked for my opinions or advice on a subject. The Sultan here, for example, was predisposed to shelling out commentary long before he decided to grow out a beard that is associated with understanding - having or not having the beard was/is only a representation of the individual's natural tendencies. Simply put; you don't grow a wizard beard without first being a wizard.

my facial hair grows faster than an idea: In 9 months my beard was about 14inches and the moustache was about 5 inches. I chopped it all off, save for about an inch worth of mutton chop. The moment you start trying to make things symmetrical, the less they are. Just remember: Asymmetry is like Waldo: it's hard as Hell to find when there's a shit-load of other things on the page. A couple things... Beards- I don't care whether a guy has a beard or not.. but if it's a sad scraggly patchy thing, just don't. If it's thick, do what you want. Met a guy at the beginning of the Covid pandemic (April 2020) who happened to have a "freedom beard"- he'd retired from the army about 6 months prior to us meeting. I've seen pix of when he was in the service, clean-shaven, and I think he was gorgeous! Sure, I enjoy the beard, but with or without it, my feelings for him are about him.. not the beard. Jail/prison- I was with a man once who had a warrant for things that happened before we got together. He eventually got picked up, spent 3 months in jail, over the holidays, no less! I visited him twice a week (the maximum allowed) the entire time. You say they never forget. Eh, I think that some people do forget. They're wired different from the rest of us, and time spent locked up is not spent getting their head straight, learning the skills and habits needed to not go back. It's just marking time until they can get out and do what they want again. He forgot.... and I found out the things he was doing, and left. He didn't handle it well, ended up having to spend more time in "grown-up time-out."... and I haven't looked back. I kinda regret giving him a chance, investing in him... but I'm not. I wouldn't appreciated my bearded darling as much as I do if it hadn't been for the guy before.

I'm a 29 year old that wishes he can have even a fraction of the beard that you have. I'm trying minoxidil to try and grow one out with no progress so far. iv got too much native American blood in me to grow a beard or goatee.. Btw I thing you are one of the happiest MGTOW guys out there. a lot of what you say reminds me of MGTOW.

George I think you really want to start over again by shaving the beard off but maybe afraid too. Your beard is awesome but maybe you should, I think your getting bored of it🤔 I've been thinking about it but I am afraid that all my beard oil and balms will expire and I've spend some good money on

To me, if a woman doesn't like me because of my beard then she isn't worth being with any way, down the road what else is she not going to like about me, like me for who i am 👍🇺🇸.
