It's funny how artists and their music may affect our lives. It was just few weeks after my dad passed away and this song came out. It was the first time that I cracked a smile after a long few weeks. It helped me to transition back to my somehow "normal" life again. Thank you, Yela! I'll always be grateful.

I love this man, I'm from Europe in the Netherlands, I have 0 connection to the USA but love rap since 1999 and always been intrigued with the South because of shows like 'My name is Earl' on comedy central, learned about Yela in 2009, sadly, my own life gone downhill alot between then and 2020 and just did not have time to dive deep into good music, and media tries it best to keep Yela under the radar.. Im finding all this music of his in 2022 and fucking hell is he a absolute gem. He's giving me all the positive vibes I crave
