for real....ive been a fan since the beginning....so many people keep yappin about "go back to trunkmuzik days" its like respect his movement. dudes sound is fckng iconic. No body has done this with such finesse.....I never bring race into things..but yela reps the "white rap" so perfectly. Makes me want to catch some fucking alligators . Brings light and respect to the Bama living/way of life. Plus his style is too good. Hes his own genre.

I wouldn't say Country. Real south with the blues. Maybe more folk if You want to take in the banjo (Appalachian Style), mandelin, and then some whistling and thunder noises with fiddles. Folked that shit up. Beat totally works.

i kinda agree, yelawolf stands in his own lane and hes one of the most original rappers ever but the first country hiphop song was by bone thugs especially created by krayzie bone, so you can say he started that genre, songs name is "ghetto cowboy" but like i said yelawolf is DOPE AF and the style fits perfectly to him.

I hate country music but Yelawolf gives me hope for country music. I'm tired of the generic "I lost my truck and my job" songs. This can also be applied to most rap music. No more "I shot that niggah and I got money, bitches, and hoes".

Levi Church I know this. When it came out I downloaded it with a vevo "video to mp3" Converter. For the last month I've listened to it every day, some days more than 10 times. I've also gotten drunk over drinking Jack Daniels while I had this song playing.It was a fun experience, asside from the stomach problems I got afterwards but I know how to handle myself when I get nauseous so yeah, I was fine, like always.

Even if this song do not have a vid I could imagine the whole thing .. the vibes, the wood and the swamp, the rain, his car, the house and the things inside, eveything. Yelawolf is one of the most talented artists out there right now. He combines country and rap/hip hop better than anyone. Chris Stapleton is probably the best country singer out there right now in my opinion. I wish they'd make a track together with Yela rapping and Chris on the hook/chorus/bridge whatever

I heard about YelaWolf about 5-6 or even 7 years ago for the first time. Then for some reason I stopped listening and these days I decided to listen again and, wow! I can't stop listening to his songs, he is just so amazing! And the new songs are just fantastic! He's got a great talent!
