OMG that's how Gems like Eyeball who were there to see Pink get shattered think it was Rose. Even though we know it should be impossible for Rose to get their and we know it has to be one of th Diamonds. White can alter memories or something close to that, after Pink got shattered in front of everyone it was covered up almost flawlessly because everyone THINKS they saw Rose do it.

Except we know that they keep their memories, I mean Cent remembered how to write and had a very clear idea of how she became corrupted. I think White has to be able to effect their Gem in some way. Maybe Pink could effect the mind, which could still lead to everyone having messed up memories.

Theory: It wasn't Yellow Yellow clearly cares for Blue, and she seemed genuinely upset in what's the use of feeling blue. However we now from recent episodes she IS hiding something. I believe that White arranged for Pink to die and Yellow was aware and possibly made to assist with Pink's death. Yellow wants to hurry and wrap it up because if White gets involved she and Blue could be shattered like Pink.

Imagine if one of White Diamond's abilities were photokinesis! And if you don't know what photokinesis is, it basically means the ability to control or bend light! Just think of how OP that would be! Other gems would have an even bigger reason to fear her. It would be like blood bending but for gems!✴️

Doc Meh doesn't feel all that exciting of a power for white diamond I just feel like she'd be the one diamond who's powers could affect not only gems but other life forms which would help explain how she could capture so many planets and would give us more reason to fear her

Yeah of course she has to have powers that can effect other life forms. This has to be one of the reasons she gets planets faster too. White Diamond probly has better tech too. I feel like each of the Diamonds has their own way of conquering and colonizing planets and White has the most efficient way to do it She the pro! But come on though Photokinesis sounds OP af!.

+Doc I actually have a head cannon about White having photokinesis. Not only can she bend the physical form of gems, she could actually use a light as means to create devastating attacks such as lasers, flash attacks to disorient or blind the enemy, manipulation of light to create hard light objects such as weapons. But it's all just in my head.

Well Steven seems to be hyper attuned to emotions and other creatures minds so maybe pink diamond was the cure So when the diamonds thought they'd sufficiently punished a gem they would fuse and pinks power would heal them

steven also seems to be way more in tune with other people than most gems are. He's probably more sensitive to that sort of emotional stimulus. I mean he connected to the cluster when peridot couldn't etc.

According to my school and the internet the 3 types of health are Physical, Mental, and Emotional (or social depending on your source). if yellow is physical maybe blue isn't mental but instead emotional, leaving mental to white diamond.

White diamond earases your memory. That's what I think she does. Blue diamond changes emotions, yellow changes form, White changes your memory. You can no longer summon a weapon or know your form. You may say this is the same as able, but I think blue makes you sort of into an animal. Quote by Connie "full of fight or flight reflexes." Steven mentions being confused and that is white diamonds part.

That doesn't really mean much, it just means that the animators either forgot the original design, or there were more than one kind ( Perhaps after Jasper, Peri and Lapis was sent to Earth, they redesigned them to be more efficient )

Raven Wolf no offense, but with the designs being too similar, I don't see how you can even come to the conclusion that writers could have forgotten the original designs. The new destabilizers were intended to be different in form, and with what was displayed in "The Trial", there being a difference in function between the yellow and blue models seems likely. Of course, with Aquamarine's remark to Topaz, it can also be assumed that they share the same results, but the means is different.

This is an awesome idea! Possibly White's ability could be to project light/sound at incredible speeds (maybe for more common uses to give orders to far away groups of Gem patrols, like a massive megaphone???) which may be the reason why the corruption was spread so far and impacted so many Gems?

Something I noticed is that when Lars and Steven fall in the palanquinn, you see the outline of White Diamond's torso and head, then the Yelloe and Blue Diamond's ships are a pair of arms, and ladtly, on earth in the dessert, one of thr gem structures apears to be a pait of bright pink knees sticking out of the ground. The placement of the ships in one body also mimics the gem insignia/ranking. white=high ranking=head/torso blue/yellow=middle ranking=arms pink=low ranking=legs

this video is so awesome :O i was really impressed by the sequence of the diamonds using their powers as they got increasingly more and more upset by the trial, but i hadnt even thought about what it meant in a deeper way and this makes SO MUCH SENSE and is so cool to think about... im so excited for this season and getting to learn more about all aspects of the gems as a species and society

If the other Diamonds had abilities only affecting Gems, what if Pink Diamond was sort of an oddball? So the _pink_ Rose Quartz has abilities that affect gems *and* organic life (healing and resurrection), so what if Pink Diamond also shared that? If the resurrection ability could heal or "resurrect" corrupted Gems, that may also explain why one of the diamonds might shatter her as her abilities countered theirs.

The diamond's powers also have the power to manipulate rocks or gems in real like. For example Blue diamonds ability is similar to how water causes erosion in rocks and how lightning can alter the from of sand into glass how lightning can make fulgurite. One could conclude then that the third diamonds ability must be something that causes a physical change in rocks.

I think that White Diamond's power is the gem itself, doing something to the gem, I also believe that Pink Diamond's power was healing, which could have been a reason why a diamond, cough White Diamond cough, shattered her, because her healing powers were limiting the corruption power or whatever it is.

It's also possible that whatever White Diamond does also does permenant damage or rather what makes it hard to heal and revert.Because Blue Diamond's wave was temporary.And destabilizing a gem is only to they reform.So to corrupt and stop the crystal gems they would need to make the effects long lasting

I believe the powers of Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond is very powerful when they're together Blue Diamond her power able to make people cry that's a pretty amazing power and Yellow Diamond power to shoot lightning is cool I can see why she's the military or army diamond. I think Blue's crying power works best with people who aren't acossiated as "sad".Yellow Pearl was literally *streaming* with tears, and she's not one to mourn very much. But Blue Pearl is always in the presence of B.D and she is constantly mourning the loss, so it would make sense for only a single tear to fall down. Theory?

Yellow Diamond controls the physical state of being, Blue Diamond controls the emotional state of being. Based on that, I'd say White Diamond controls the intellectual state of being. But what does Pink Diamond control then?

Okay so mentioning your theory/observation about the diamonds only being able to use their powers on gems... if there's going to be another war, having the gems we already have (including the hundreds of corrupted ones in the temple if they could be healed somehow) and the humans on their side too vs the homeworld gems. I had a similar theory but includes Pink diamond. because I thought about the 4 diamonds having like a team ultimate power that shattered gems instantly with a flash, like in the memory of the centipede gem. Then by Pink diamond being shattered they don't have the ultimate power anymore, so that leads to the power of corruption (also a metaphor, because the anarchy has been corrupted by Pink's death) which is not so strong like shattering but still is the power of the 3 remaining pieces of the team

I feel like since we already have the physical and emotional disruption covered when it comes to corruption, it's safe to say that White Diamond has some kind of sound-based power that's traditionally used as a form of long-distance communication but can somehow also be used as a weapon. I feel like this would also be really reminiscent of Yellow Diamond's powers being transformed into gem destabilizers, as there are a lot of sound-based gem tech i.e. the wailing stones and the warp whistle, which are all items gems use to communicate with each other.

I'd like to see a future episode where Blue Diamond has the Blue Zircon help her try to figure out what's going on and Yellow Diamond secretly gets involved and shatters the Zircon when Blue Diamond isn't around, leaving blue suspicious. I'd also like this to be an episode where Topaz and Topaz end up finding themselves in the kindergarten and protect the "off colors"

White's power is probably what effects the gem. Like blue is mind, yellow is body, and white is soul? All combine to corrupt, but when on her own, she probably can do great physical damage to the gem itself by something easy like yellows hand zap or blue emotion sonar

My bet is that white diamond's power has to do with altering the gemstone itself as that is the other component of corruption.

I feel like white diamonds ability is sound based like a banshees cry making the fusions song louder and even change it's frequencies and wavelengths to corrupt all different gems at once

Since corruption (from what we know) is the destruction or tampering of a gems' mind, WD must be the unity or disruption part of the two others powers. Unity to unite Yellow and Blue's powers in order to make corruption possible or destruction of the beneficial effects of the two sides to cause this deformation of physical and mental form.
