I thought that lighting was a lot less intense when I was filming this my hair looks blue lmaoo 🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♂️ this is a beautiful plant that I highly recommend if you like cottage - style gardens, the colour yellow, butterflies visiting you and vertically appealing flowers. This long - lived 3 ish foot tall plant, named after Lysimachus, has so many interesting features. Each flower is shaped like a star and it's just such a happy plant. It's highly rhizomatous in nature and spreads quickly, so be careful that it doesnt overcompete and take over other plants. This plant is tough as nails and hard to kill. This is my best choice for a reliable perennial cottage garden plant, for the beginner gardener. It's forgiving as far as watering goes too, exceptionally drought tolerant. It's long lived, and does well in containers also. Have a good day yall :)) thanks for the support homiessss♡♡♡

Thanks for identifying this plant for me. I have a good amount of it in the front and side of my yard. I never feel bad pulling good amounts out of the ground to control its spread. Your presentation was very informative and you have a very nice speaking voice.

Hey I'm glad I could help! Yes it grows like mad, I've pulled out probably 200-300 shoots in the last few years, but now I have them all over the garden and am constantly giving some to friends and neighbors:))) greatly appreciate those words aww🙏🙏💕

This was a really informative video! I’m in Scotland and some of it survived the clearing up of our heavily overgrown garden. I planted some more of it so we have a good drift of it including some variegated examples. Our garden border is about 15-20 metres long so it should fill up a good portion of that

@maxzytaruk8558

They're gorgeous eh! Definitely full sun, but they're pretty versatile. I think the sheer competition between them / growing them in a close density makes the stretch out taller :)

Hi Max. Do you deadhead your loosestrife? And if you do, where do you prefer to cut? My little cutting is now several spikes and I want to keep it blooming as long as I can. Thanks! Linda.
@MDkid1
@MDkid1 2 жыл бұрын
I don't deadhead mine, I just let it bloom, it has a very long bloom season almost the whole summer.
