To see all the Yellowjackets in the 1990s timeline bow down to Natalie and then see her die in the adult timeline is such a roller coaster. This season finale won’t be forgotten.

Adults Nat and Misty together were so funny. I will also miss Juliette very much such a great actress hopefully we will see Juliette in more movies now.

This just absolutely devastated me. I am not happy about how nat ended and that’s just me as a person. She did not deserve that. In hindsight though they literally laid it all out especially with the nat drawing the card and all of it. They really do everything for a specific purpose and it’s *very* intentional. I’ll always love Yellowjackets but that ending man😅😅😅 p.s. I am terrified for how Misty will handle what she did even with Walter.

This was a shocking, moving, and beautiful finale - really don't have words for the phenomenal "storytelling", the interpretation of the story by all of the actors, and the fact that this show, like none other, will be a classic all others will try to emulate. But they won't be able to, because we are seeing magic from this crew. actors to writers to all involved in any way, Thank YOU for a fantastic Season 2 and monumental moment cliffhanger ending!!!

Excellent finale. Soul crushing, but excellent. Can we have adult Akilah now? Seriously, Natalie and Akilah are the two most relatable. We need someone to play off Misty who isn't a love interest.

Love seeing how close the actresses are. Will miss adult Nat, definitely disagree with the choice to have her die. There was so much more to tell with that character imo. Also Simone Kessel played unhinged Lottie so well

Can someone explain to me why Nat was on a different plane during her limbo sequence? It felt odd that she was on a generic 747 instead of the plane they perished on. I was also hoping to see adult Travis. It was weird that she saw teen Lottie. I think the parallel on Travis touch her chest like she did after Javi would’ve made more sense.

I know it's a stretch, but one of my ideas is maybe they never left the island at all, they've been through so much trauma, that they are just lost inside their own heads.

So what’s up with this bonus episode?

I can describe how I felt about this season of Yellowjackets by paraphrasing a bojack quote: if I squint at it just right, everything lines up and is beautiful, but I don’t want to squint. I don’t want to make excuses for a sloppier story. I just want a good story. And the adult timeline’s pacing was just not as enjoyable as last season.

Shuana should take the lead on that book deal..share their trauma…heal through saying outloud what happened and getting the financially stability her family needs…also we know it’s already written in those diaries she HAD to save 🤷🏻‍♀️

Alright I have researched if Misty was the reason they were not found sooner. You know, bc she wanted the love of her teammates to stay so she destroyed the black box. She is not the reason. Bc I just learned if the plane crash isn't in water than it's much more difficult to find on land. They go with radio beacons and GPS not in the black box. I have copied and pasted the answer below. If your like me my first response to the black box scene was worried that they will find her out and concerned on her need to be loved bc of the bullying she dealt with for years. Research states, "The longer answer is that sending a signal when you are underwater is relatively easy. The pinger has a water switch: when it gets wet the water closes an electric circuit and the pinger makes a noise that can be heard on standard passive SONAR gear. Water is pretty good at conducting sound waves, so the pings can be heard over a large distance and can guide searchers to the black box (or at least the pinger: sometimes they get ripped off, but they're usually still near the debris field). We get all of that functionality in a fairly small self-contained device that requires effectively no maintenance (you replace the unit when its battery expires). Sending a signal when you're NOT under water is harder: you can activate the signaling device with a "G Switch" the same way the ELT is activated, but after that the problems get harder: You can't use sound (effectively) A "pinger" beeping in the air is much less effective than under water - the range would be extremely limited even at very high volumes. Add to that the fact that crash scenes are pretty noisy with firefighting and rescue crews working and the chances of anyone hearing an acoustic beacon on the surface are pretty slim. You can't use light (effectively) A strobe on the black box may work OK in the dark, but it's easily damaged and not terribly effective during the day, or if the recorder is upside-down, in dense foliage, under snow/mud, etc. Radio locator beacons are problematic Radio locator beacons require an antenna - if the antenna is damaged or torn off in the crash the effective range of a radio beacon would be drastically reduced, possibly to the point of being completely ineffective. If the antenna remains attached the signal can still be reduced drastically if the box is buried under natural features (dirt) or aircraft debris (aluminum skin). I really, really enjoyed the finale, but my only and I mean only complaint is Natalie dying by fentanyl. We've seen her be at rock bottom. We saw her come and try to get help. She was sober. She was trying to find hope. And she's always been a tragic character yes, but to have her die like that? Just felt unnecessary. If she was going to go out, I'd rather it been not thar. She deserved better. That's just my only complaint. Everything else I loved! Sadecki family, I love ya!

The premise of the show is great like trauma from your youth to have a come back when we are older. Like IT in a way. BUT the "cult" aspect doesnt work for me.

Adult Nat had no purpose in s2. She doesn't even feel like the same character. Sophie's Nat is amazing and Juliette's is just meh. So good riddance. We still have superior Nat to watch.

Lottie should’ve died instead. As she gets closer to Shauna the other women tell her that she’s going to be admitted, as she turns around to them Shauna pulls out a knife and stabs her in the back. That’s when Lisa shows up. End scene…. But no. So disappointing

This show tries to be too clever for it's own good. The second season has been such a letdown. Nothing more than something to have on in the back ground.

What happened to this show?? Season 1 was sooooo amazing, it felt like watching HBO in its prime, now season 2 feels like watching a shitty Netflix special. The acting and writing is great, but honestly y’all ruined the design, Whoever you changed for season 2, fire them and hire back the originals before you kill this show.
