I believe that there is more than 1 Queen. Lottie dethroned Jackie in Season 1 - Lottie to Jackie "You're not needed anymore" (Season 1 Doomcoming); then there is Taiissa (Her alter ego) Queen 2; Then I believe Nat (White Caribou (Stag - A tremendous change is coming): Nat's comment to Travis "You know there are no Queens in that deck" - Season 1. Lottie mentions this season that when a new Queen is born, she has to kill all of the other Queens, or they all will starve. Four queens in a deck of cards, too much theory to write. Jackie is the rabbit, those statues in her house are what Jackie’s parents give her every year in Jackie’s memory since she loved them. She also brings up her love for them saying something like she’s hungry enough she could even eat a rabbit. Shauna’s struggle with the rabbits in her garden is symbolic of Jackie haunting her. And of course she ends up eating the rabbit like she ate Jackie. I think you’re probably right that shauna is dressed as the rabbit, but it’ll be in Jackie’s honor.

I wanted to argue your Akeelah= owl theory (because I DO believe they indeed used doubles, not “random extras” as the folx in the masks - they were obviously specifically chosen, and while they did it to 1 - save money 2 - so we don’t recognize the actors / rule people out ; I still do not think they would have cast them at random, I do believe they would intend to make sure that MAJOR features will line up later down the line)) - I have to admit I thought twice once I saw her thinking about eating her mouse nugget !! I also think it’s possible people could be thinking too far into “which animal is which is which” - yes tai sees a wolf and Shauna has lots of Rabbits around her, but likewise Nat saw a moose and Lottie tamed a bear -- (isn’t Javi’s little wood-carving of a wolf, too?). These characters are constantly trading clothes and coats and gloves and garments, so I would not be surprised if we are shown later down the line that they trade off animal-pelts as well. Why does everyone assume they are trying to wear “ANIMAL COSTUMES”? Like you said, they really don’t look like animals… so why are you assuming they ARE animals? I think they might just be next winter’s coats and hats.

I would like to add that in my culture (Indigenous American) wolves can represent the ability to protect, be loyal, influence others, but they are corruptible and controllable by dark forces (ie 'the bad one' Tai). Owls can also mean that death is coming to a group.

And not only did Shauna kill the rabbit to put in the stew and feed it to her family, but Jackie’s parents gave her a rabbit figurine as a gift. Just sayin

I think they break into two groups. One will be lead by Lottie and one will be lead by Nat or Ty. I do think that Javi is alive. I think he finds the others on the island and they do not let him leave. I also think Lottie may sleep with Travis at some point. Shauna is turned on by violence or anything that has an adrenaline rush. Killing the rabbit, doing it on her daughters bed, jumping in the water, having sex in her own bed where she could be caught.

Callie is still underage in season 1 and Shauna goes to her 25th HS reunion so she can't be the baby Shauna is pregnant with in the woods

Theres a coheed and cambria song. Beileve its the iv album. Theres a song that basically says " no one runs faster than you can" and something along the lines of "run rabbit run". I can see them eventually stop looking at eachother as people. Eventually theyre all rabbits because when its their turn to be eaten they run.

I loved this video! It made so much sense! Great job!!! Esp w the owl meaning and Akilah, it got me thinking *adjusts tinfoil* about the Symbol. The shape of the beak mask on the Owl dinner guest costume reminds me of the Symbol. The part where the top of the triangle intersects w the circle, and it makes this small little pie slice shape that is consistent across every version of the Symbol. The pie slice shape is always there, indicating it’s intentionally drawn that way and important to the overall meaning of the Symbol. If it wasn’t important, we’d see inconsistencies in other versions. SO, the beak mask looks like the small pie slice shape. And the wings of the owl costume, immediately reminds me of the two parallel lines on each side of the triangle….they look like wings…like an owl in flight? Hunting Prey? And then the “hook” at the bottom of the triangle, is like an owl’s talon. I think the Symbol is an Owl. And the line going THRU the triangle is meant to mean “no/not allowed/dislike/anti/etc” Like how 🚭 means “no smoking”. I think the Symbol means “No Owls/Beware Owls/Owls Not Allowed/Etc”. NOW, Akilah sounds also like “A Killah” (like “A Killer”)…and she “talks to animals”. The girls were compared to animals last episode, so if animals is a euphemism for the girls, it means Akilah/Owl Dinner Guest is friendly (talking) w the girls (vs antagonistic). So the Owls/Owl Spirits are on the girls’ side too. Like the Bear/Bear Spirit. Here’s what convinced me that your videos are into something, btw! What would an Owl being friendly to the girls look like?” Well, it might look like an Owl sitting up in a tree watching a pyre below, and suddenly taking flight thru the air and making sure to knock a bunch of snow off some branches, so that the snow will slow roast Jackie and give the girls some food! That definitely has to have been a bird, and most likely an Owl since they’re nocturnal, and once you watch that scene thru the Owl’s eyes, then you can’t unsee it lol. Last thing I’ll mention is that there definitely seems to be some connection btwn Ty and Akilah. Just bc Owls have big eyes and Ty sees the No-eyed-Man, and Ty’s son saw the lady in the tree w big eyes staring at him (presumably Ty herself), etc. There’s so much imagery of Ty in trees, and eyes, missing eyes, watching/staring without blinking. It makes me wonder if Ty isn’t the Owl and Akilah the Wolf? Or they’re different versions of the same person??! 🤷🏻‍♀️ That chick telling Misty about consuming her twin and letting her perform has me thinking there’s secret twins living inside everyone lol.

I think misty is a beaver, Nat is the skunk with the different coloured hair Travis is the raccoon Shauna is the bunny Tai is def the wolf but also could be van bc of her tie to wolves and in the doom coming episode she a the first one to make a wolf howl when they’re charging through the woods Badger could be van And crystal is the one in the raincoat or the owl and we know that misty has a fascination with birds could be her missing crystal post rescue I think crystal will be the last to die and I think they will get rescued soon after and this will haunt misty bc she sacrificed her only friend when they didn’t need to

The Pit Girl scene won't come until season 5. It will be close to the end of their time in the woods. Notice how they are wearing animal pelts and skins, instead of the clothes they are wearing in season 2. I think at some point - most likely the end of season 4 - the cabin will burn down and some of their clothes will be destroyed, which will fuel their final descent into madness. I also think that all of them, not just Lottie, will go mad and they will all temporarily lose the ability to talk. In the S1E1 scenes, they don't talk. They just nod to each other. Also, Van is the one standing at the pit at the beginning of S1E1. Take a look at her t-shirt.

We could see them 'pit girl' Crytal or whoever this season as a first girl they trap and not have it be the scene from season 1 episode 1, as they seemed like well seasoned and experienced pit trappers and eaters of people by then, it didn't seem like the first time they did it at all. So we might get a pit girl this season and THE pit girl down the road. Crystal first and Mari last? Idk.

Hot take- They find Javi, who discovered secrets in the wilderness and becomes their Antler "Queen".

This is because if you look really close, the two are sat very close together and there arms are almost interlocked. Which makes me believe Shauna is actually the one you say is Travis, basically by process of elimination. There is only one person I am not sure of and that is the person on the far left... it is either Javi or Mari.

I think *Lisa is Pit-Girl!* The pit that *Lisa/Pit Girl* was driven into looks like something machine dug. It also looks much bigger than the girls could dig with that one tiny shovel they have.

I think it is obvious 1. The pit girl is mari and 2. It is probably the last ceremony before they are found. Why? 1. No other non main girl left really looks like the pit girl other than Mari, and I think that is why she was cast to begin with. 2. I believe other than the coach, no other girl survived that we saw after Lottis and Van were introduced as no one mentions anyone else living as adults. 3. The furs they were wearing in the first pit girl scene looked nice and not the grubby things they have on now, so they probably made them in the summer after what we have saw to date when game is more plentiful and they got better at skinning and making their own clothes. 4. The ceremony seemed to be pretty set and highly organized with rituals which would not be so complex if done right after Natalie became the queen in the first winter. 5. Therefore, the other three "non main girls" were ate before the pit girl since they are no longer around. I fully believe the coach though may have survived until "the present" and that will be the new conflict in the next season. Although he has one leg, he is not superstitious at all and I believe he will try to walk out of the forest. (which I also believe is not as vast as the now superstitious delusional girls think, which will be a dark joke when we learn that). The drama will be they hate each other as adults, but for some reason the coach never ratted on them and we will learn why that was.
