The land should be given back to the native Americans. Nice advertisement for the result of a genocide. When you stay there think of how they had to abuse innocent people that had their land and lives taken from them.

It’s bizarre how people from the east coast seemingly always refer to the western US as the “American West” or “American Mountain West” or “American Southwest”. They never use the ‘American West’ qualifier when referring to the states which comprise the Midwest, Gulf Coast, Mid Atlantic, or Northeast. The west coast, particularly the inland states aren’t some mythical place where one can only visit if filming a commercial for a car. The “American West” isn’t so vast that it has yet to be explored and mapped. It’s a normal place.
